Selling to fellow domainers? Where is the spirit? And these are just geo names for that matter. Names that require outbound. If anyone has an LLL or LLLL name we can even talk about it. We shouldn't encourage this. It is infectious.
if you ran a whois check all this names are over 10 months are you telling me that she just left the names in her portfolio for 10 months without putting any work smh

It's a free space, i think you should allow him advertise his domains, you never know who might be interested, and might want to hold for long.

I remember bringing an almost expired domain i couldn't sell here, asked who wanted it and gave it out, the beneficiary sold it for $100 i think or more, because he believed in the name and traffic it got.

Secondly you don't know why he might want to sell or think he should sell it at that price to us here. You don't know his current financial standing.

So please let's allow him to market his domains, besides things like this are also found on namepros.

Someone might be interested....

And it is guaranteed the one I'm buying from her will sell? This is not encouraging. Ans it's even going for 20 dollars per one and expiring, like someone noticed, in two months. Lol. There is no harm in trying though.
this is my point but don't conclude she didn't put in any work for over 10 months haba

You are right. I give up. Just that it might affect morale. When new people know we buy names they find difficult selling the effort they put into domaining may be affected. Just trying to make the race stronger. But, you are right. They are doing nothing wrong.

@Kira02 I think you should consider this. You maybe surprised that in the end, you may get more than the $20 each you're asking for. You have absolutely nothing to lose here.
Cheers.

Let me be an angel investor. I'll consult two good scrappers and pay them for the last four domains. One will scrape gmap, etc while the other will scrape LinkedIn. I'll outbound.

Terms and Conditions
During this period of scraping and outbounding, you won't scrape or outbound for any of the four domains.

I'll decide the price for each domain

The sharing is 80% to the investor and 20% to the owner after sales.

Is that okay by you?
Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by HolySpiritFire(f): 3:41pm On Jun 06, 2021
I think it's fair enough. At least it's better than nothing, considering that the domains have barely 2months left to expiration as someone posited.
Cheers.

80% to the investor. Nawao!

LOL!!! He who pays the piper dictates the tune. Life does not balance at times. Maybe that is why the Pareto Principle is invoked by the investor.

Read more about Angel Investor.

Sometimes you push people to the wall to make effort. I systematically gave the procedure to see if that string could be pulled. If it result in sales, the owner will never admit that method was used. If I buy those domains and report sales, people like you will attack the owner,he/she should have pushed further.

Brotherly, business is not a family affair. Domain does not have fast rule policy. The policy is patience& dogedness. I asked,if the owner is comfortable with my T & C.

Well, you can buy for that price if you're interested.

Cheers..!

You didn't cover all bases with this your offer smiley What if after you do these things and the domain doesn't sell (and expire)?
Will you pay him/her the amount he/she should have made if those domains were sold at the current reseller price ($20)?

That's the loss of the Angel Investor. I never collected the domain abinitio. It's the property of the owner either way. It's a win-win situation for the owner

I don't think so.
If the owner sells 'now', they get $20 times X number of domains they are selling. But if they take up your offer (you didn't even give a time frame), knowing fully well that the domains have got about 2 months to expiration, it then means that if your intervention doesn't yield any positive result, the domain owner is likely to...

I've watched this happen repeatedly so I need to lend my voice (because I do advise people to embrace what is now termed LAZY domaining). sad

1. I find it quite funny and sometimes disturbing when I see people trying to impose their idea of how domain investing should be practiced. grin undecided

2. There are a thousand and one ways to make money from domaining.

3. And this includes buying a domain with the intention of reselling to fellow domainers (if one is not able to sell and expiration date is at the door).

4. In fact, I tell those I'm privileged to advise that they should register domains they can easily resell to fellow domainers if expiration date is at the door And there's no money to renew.

5. I have a portfolio of brandables at Alter I built specifically for this purpose. So tomorrow if I come here to 'auction' them off, It becomes 'lazy' domaining

6. Squadhelp has a wholesale Marketplace. One time (long time ago) I sold some Squadhelp registered names for about $20 each. I've also done so at Namepros. And the funds generated put to a better use.

7. I've bought a SH registered domain at the rate of $20 at their wholesale marketplace. I wasn't stupid for buying it. And I don't think the person who put it up for sale was a 'lazy' domainer.

Let me stop here.

8. Domaining isn't only for the moneybags abeg. undecided

9. Let's be guided. angry

Do you want me to renew or buy the domain name? An expiring domain is at risk, if I can salvage it with my money, if not, so be it. If not, the owner can renew it or not, so be it. If it sells,we both win. If it doesn't, the owner can renew or let it drop. Investor believes in gain and loss.

This is business. It has it T & C. If it's convenient we deal. If not, we pass.
