Good morning people...
I just got a mail from TLS that a decision has been made on my application...

Application submission: 24th May
Biometric: 26th May
Standard Application

I am a frequent traveller (though i last visited the UK in 2016) and currently have a running Canadian visitor visa on the passport. I got a UK 6-month visa last year (February 2020) but couldn't travel due to COVID.

I guess i should be optimistic of a favourable outcome...lol

Hi, you do not need to state your accommodation plans. I, Mr lagbaja and Mrs tamedo parents of (child's name) consent that we shall take full responsibility for the child and she will be staying with us in the UK.

Then parents co-sign
This is not correct information,you do need to prove it through accommodation amongst other things and they will check for safeguarding and child protection.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Iruosonobrugwhe: 12:13pm On Jun 08, 2021
it actually states amongst other things that the letter of consent should confirm "consent from parent(s) to the living arrangements in the UK and the address where you will be staying.

Amongst other things means letter is not enough you have to prove it and the address would be looked up.This is an advisory forum so take what you need.

Good day NL
Pls I need help with UK travels.I applied to some schools in the UK and was given admission. When I had the Pre Cas interview, I was asked if I have a had refusal. I had a refusal 11 years ago when an agent I used added a tax document that was fake and unnecessary. I told the schools this, they did a background check and withdrew the admission. This has happened with two schools now. What do you advise pls
Do I keep the information to myself as it was 11 years ago or do I keep mentioning it to the schools and just wait for an outcome
I have also tried to mail the Consular but can't find any email address to send it to.
Anyone with information on how to go about this.

It’s highly recommended the parents demonstrate adequate accommodation for the child’s stay in the UK.
When I say adequate accommodation the Appendix FM of the UK immigration rules has made provisions and clearity to what adequate means in this context and it says When applying for entry clearance, leave to remain or settlement to join a partner, parent, dependant child, or as an adult dependant relative in the UK, applicants must satisfy an accommodation requirement,
Applicants must show that their accommodation is ‘adequate’. The requirement for ‘adequate accommodation’ means that the family will be living in accommodation which:

Is owned or occupied exclusively by the applicant and their family;
Will be obtained without recourse to public funds;
Is not, or will not, be overcrowded; and
Does not breach public health regulations.
There is no room for a shared apartment under this provisions.

Is this new? I applied for my nuclear family last year December, letter of consent typed for 2kids and there was no mention of accommodation in the letter. In fact I was still living in my company's accommodation at that time. Their visas were granted even before 2wks.

Yeah, but you should confirm you need one. You might be exempt especially if you are staying airside.

Please what does it mean to stay airside.

Well, I can’t doubt your personal experience but it’s a provision under the citizenship and immigration act 2009.

Hmmh.
For now all socials ie restaurant’s ,pubs and shops are open and taking safety precautions so no summer might not be spent indoors.
June 21st is the tentative date for end of last stage lock down so let’s wait and see.

Hello Gurus in the house, I cannot explain enough how much this forum is helpful in applying the right way & getting visas, thanks to you all.

I have a question though. I have travelled to the schengen countries in past but have had two refusal from UK (Family visit) based on insufficient fund and unknown origin of deposits & in excess of declared amount.

And after learning the tricks from this forum I began arranging my bank account records accordingly i.e paying from my company's account to my personal account. All of a sudden scammers withdraw almost 1.5 from my zenith bank account according to the bank with up to 17 different transactions the same day but luckily I got 16 transactions reversed except the remaining last one which is worth 193k.

My question though goes thus: how best can I convince and explain in my next application in 3 months time that those transactions were not initiated by me,that it was an error from within the bank?

Thank you.
