mekaboy:Bro first of all, there's something called transition. All the things you said was under hypothetical 31st , no secession, break up or disintegration is given such a short time. I don't even want to go into the stress of debunking each points you raised one by one. |

Chidexter:Both countries have to agree on the transition time and its the country you are leaving that has the upper hand in this decision. Even UK is asking for more time to make corrections to trade laws. If you have time to agitate and die for biafra, you can discuss the points here. The UK could pull out because of self sufficiency. Are igbo and igboland self sufficient? UK already had their currency and government before leaving. |

Go and ask unknown gun men how they make their arms Biafra pound was used during the civil war... the value and cost of goods can be determined by an agency and slowly the market will determine the true value. international exchange rate will be determined by Finance minister. if biafra is handed over today, I can assure you No one will starve to death.... My village in Ohafia Abia survived without Nepa/phcn/enugu disco for over 20 yrs.. we can go on and on but I have to work now. The Truth still stands Igbos will survive and prosper. |
| Re: Lets discuss this KANU'S BIAFRA by Rossiminku: 3:10pm On Jun 08, 2021 |
obasiken:You "survived" for 3 years? You lost 3 million people, mostly to starvation, in those 3 years. Tell me. Why do you Igbo secessionists from Ojukwu to Kanu to you and IPOB, ALWAYS CARE SO LITTLE about Igbo deaths and casualties in all these fights you start? 3 million dead Igbos means nothing to you. Why? Now again, you are ready to lose more. 10 million this time, who knows? All for what? So your landlocked Biafra, since Niger Delta will never join you, will merely be a starvation headquarters, like OP said. Again, that doesn't bother you. You Igbo secessionists don't actually care for your people. Their lives mean nothing to you. |

UK and catalonia already built. So you want to take igbos 100 years back to start building? Who will wait for you to finish building and come and meet up with others? How will your government be formed? Which state will produce president? |
| Re: Lets discuss this KANU'S BIAFRA by obasiken: 3:41pm On Jun 08, 2021 |
Rossiminku:Oga...Igbos have tried your Nigeria from 1970 till now ...we are tired. The topic says if Biafra is handed over peacefully ...I never advocated for war. it's like living as an orphan in your wicked Stepmother's house. she will make sure you dont succeed more than her children. Now imagine when her children are idiots (fulani herdsmen). the only way to succeed is to leave the house and take yur destiny in yur hands. |

mrvitalis:Like you recovered your abandoned properties in Portharcourt after Biafran war of 1967-1970. Any arsonist in Lagos will be thoroughly dealt with.No one beg Igbos to buy properties in Lagos forgetting their homeland. |
| Re: Lets discuss this KANU'S BIAFRA by nthony10: 3:56pm On Jun 08, 2021 |
Monogamy:Please let’s get something straight, this whole agitation to be a separate country has nothing to do with Kanu, like someone put it he is just a symptom of a larger problem. The same way we have billionaires from other areas of Nigeria is the same in the SE so they shouldn’t be the reason for the poor state of development there. Also There’s nothing like eldorado because even the north that has a lions share of development it is not an eldorado. Mabey you are not understanding the real reason, it has to do with the structure of the country where the south is less represented than the north in the NA, where those who are blessed with resources happen to be the least developed, a system where someone from Lagos or Porthacourt has to score 450 to qualify whereas someone in katsina just needs to have 200 to qualify for the same course. These and many more are injustices that just can’t be swept under the carpet. From my experience with them,An average easterner would choose to be poor and free than conditioned against his will, Mekaboy should know that. So to answer your plenty questions (even though there’s malicious intent inside) the Igbos are more than capable of handling themselves. Read what Obasiken wrote |

| Re: Lets discuss this KANU'S BIAFRA by mekaboy(op): 4:06pm On Jun 08, 2021 |
nthony10:So its all about cutoff mark in university? If thats the case, its a blessing in disguise. Is that enough reason why igbos should have a country ? Representation in NA, can be handled by additional state. Unemployment and underdevelopment is a general problem. Igboland is underdeveloped, but the leaders we vote are buying mansions abroad. So the root cause is the leaders in the SE. The likes of orji kalu, that nnamdi kanu defends. Talking about igbo billionaires. Did they become billionaires by dealing with the SE alone. People thag became billionaires by providing products and services to the entire Nigeria, will now be limited to the SE? How many igbo billionaires have you seen agitating for biafra? |

gidgiddy:I am actually disappointed to see response of this type from a strong proponent of breakup like you. I hate it when all you people always say is "when we get to the river, we will know how to cross it". Zero strategies |

mekaboy:U are just an educated illiterate son of a bitch, small boy looking for attention, igbos fought a war for more than 3yrs and today the are one of the most succesrful tribe in Africa, that is why u post topic concerning them every day.Assuming the are failures like other tribes in Nigeria,u will not come here to post rubbish. |

| Re: Lets discuss this KANU'S BIAFRA by selemempe: 4:15pm On Jun 08, 2021 |
Ikology:1. Other enclaved countries. Biafra would not be the only enclaved country in the world. Lesotho is entirely enclaved inside South Africa. They have a population of almost 3 million and still have a higher GDP per capita than Nigeria. As far as we can have an internationally brokered deal with Nigeria to freely allow us use Nigerian airspace for civilian planes, we would be just fine. 2. Oil and gas money The south east has more oil and gas reserves than the Federal allocation it gets. With oil in Abia and imo States and gas in Anambra state, we have enough of that resource to gradually build a more sustainable economy if we plan well. Don't forget that Nairobi Kenya was built with money from tea and coffee. Nairobi is more beautiful than Lagos built with oil money. Electricity can also be generated with our gas reserves 3. Military Today Igbos have no military and have no right to form a military. If we are allowed to go with our 5 states, we would have the right to build a military, To buy as much deadly weapons and defence technology as we can afford to buy. We can get Israel to even help us with a low budget iron Dome technology for aerial self defense. We can be able to take the war to any future enemies without being sitting ducks. 3 Customs, immigration today Igbos have no right or sovereignty to defend our land. Any abokì can walk from futa jallon and come and settle in the hills of Enugu. All we can do is rant as far as fulani government refuses to act, we can't do anything. Any trailer filled with whatever can drive into SE today without us being able to check what is inside. With biafra we can legally mount checks on our borders to check what is going in and out according to international law. Do you know that oil is being smuggled out of Anambra on a daily basis? In biafra, we can have checks for things like that legally 4. Passport if they allow us take our 5 states, we would also be obliged to drop the overabused Nigerian passport that can't even get you into Cape Verde. We would create our own passport and build its reputation on a virgin ground and with hindsight on how reputation can ruin a passport 5. Foreign diplomacy today Igbos are not known in international politics. With our 5 states, we would have the right to join the United Nations. We would have the right to build relationships with other countries on equal basis. We can even become a closer friend and protege to Israel, Our president can stand Infront of the UN general assembly every year to speak for us. We would automatically become a sovereign people. Very very important 6. Federal tax if we get our 5 states as biafra, all the billions of naira that goes from our region to Abuja in taxes will stop. That is money that we can use to build our nation 7. Federal fees instead of paying Nigeria government for things like passport, driving license, vehicle papers, radio and TV licences etc, you pay it to the Biafran government. That money can help us achieve a lot. 8. Policing in our 5 states, we will no longer have abokì people mounting road blocks on our roads and killing our hustling youths in the name of policing all because of deep-seated hatred. Biafra police would be 100% Igbo 9. Airport and travel with biafra of 5 states, we would now fly and land in Enugu (for instance) instead of Lagos or Abuja. Our government can even partner Air Peace to create an airline carrier that can later rival Ethiopian airlines. Where there is a will there is a way. Remember that 10. Sea port it gets tricky here but we have options that may be better than going to Lagos to clear our goods. We can import with more air cargo than with ships. Or We can spend money and dredge the river Niger and dock at Onitsha river port. All we need to do as a country is to buy barges and keep them at onne port or Duala port, once a ship docks there, all cargoes going into Biafra would be transferred to the badges and sailed up the river Niger to Onitsha. Or We can also negotiate with Nigeria to use the Enugu-port Harcourt rail to transport containers and pay Nigerian customs. Either way, we would be fine. 11. Capital flight to Lagos and Abuja Igbos who are quick to build their mansions and businesses in Lagos, Abuja, port Harcourt etc would be forced to come home as they automatically lose the right to live freely in Nigeria. Those returning igbos and their money would help us start building or country from day one Cc gidgiddy

My grouse is with Nnamdi Kanu. He banked on biafra which our people have strong emotion for, Using propaganda to indoctrinate hoards of willing youths. They have created hundreds of facebook page where more people are being brainwashed. |

selemempe:Lol. Yes, but they are only distributors. Every generation goes to the national grid. So you have to generate from your own source and provide infrastructure for distributing from that source. Im not sure liberia has electricity till date after the war. |

selemempe:How do you take care of thousands of families who depend on government for their well-being? what immediate plan do you have to protect our properties in other regions should breakup happen, knowing what the hoards of hoodlums and opportunist in these regions are capable of? For you shout breakup, you must have gotten everything ready in our region. Southeast ought be self-sufficient first. |
