1. Other enclaved countries. Biafra would not be the only enclaved country in the world.
Lesotho is entirely enclaved inside South Africa. They have a population of almost 3 million and still have a higher GDP per capita than Nigeria. As far as we can have an internationally brokered deal with Nigeria to freely allow us use Nigerian airspace for civilian planes, we would be just fine.

2. Oil and gas money The south east has more oil and gas reserves than the Federal allocation it gets.
With oil in Abia and imo States and gas in Anambra state, we have enough of that resource to gradually build a more sustainable economy if we plan well. Don't forget that Nairobi Kenya was built with money from tea and coffee. Nairobi is more beautiful than Lagos built with oil money.
Electricity can also be generated with our gas reserves

3. Military Today Igbos have no military and have no right to form a military. If we are allowed to go with our 5 states, we would have the right to build a military, To buy as much deadly weapons and defence technology as we can afford to buy. We can get Israel to even help us with a low budget iron Dome technology for aerial self defense. We can be able to take the war to any future enemies without being sitting ducks.

3 Customs, immigration today Igbos have no right or sovereignty to defend our land. Any abokì can walk from futa jallon and come and settle in the hills of Enugu. All we can do is rant as far as fulani government refuses to act, we can't do anything. Any trailer filled with whatever can drive into SE today without us being able to check what is inside. With biafra we can legally mount checks on our borders to check what is going in and out according to international law. Do you know that oil is being smuggled out of Anambra on a daily basis? In biafra, we can have checks for things like that legally

4. Passport if they allow us take our 5 states, we would also be obliged to drop the overabused Nigerian passport that can't even get you into Cape Verde. We would create our own passport and build its reputation on a virgin ground and with hindsight on how reputation can ruin a passport

5. Foreign diplomacy today Igbos are not known in international politics. With our 5 states, we would have the right to join the United Nations. We would have the right to build relationships with other countries on equal basis. We can even become a closer friend and protege to Israel, Our president can stand Infront of the UN general assembly every year to speak for us. We would automatically become a sovereign people. Very very important

6. Federal tax if we get our 5 states as biafra, all the billions of naira that goes from our region to Abuja in taxes will stop. That is money that we can use to build our nation

7. Federal fees instead of paying Nigeria government for things like passport, driving license, vehicle papers, radio and TV licences etc, you pay it to the Biafran government. That money can help us achieve a lot.

8. Policing in our 5 states, we will no longer have abokì people mounting road blocks on our roads and killing our hustling youths in the name of policing all because of deep-seated hatred. Biafra police would be 100% Igbo

9. Airport and travel with biafra of 5 states, we would now fly and land in Enugu (for instance) instead of Lagos or Abuja. Our government can even partner Air Peace to create an airline carrier that can later rival Ethiopian airlines. Where there is a will there is a way. Remember that

10. Sea port it gets tricky here but we have options that may be better than going to Lagos to clear our goods. We can import with more air cargo than with ships. Or We can spend money and dredge the river Niger and dock at Onitsha river port. All we need to do as a country is to buy barges and keep them at onne port or Duala port, once a ship docks there, all cargoes going into Biafra would be transferred to the badges and sailed up the river Niger to Onitsha. Or We can also negotiate with Nigeria to use the Enugu-port Harcourt rail to transport containers and pay Nigerian customs. Either way, we would be fine.

11. Capital flight to Lagos and Abuja Igbos who are quick to build their mansions and businesses in Lagos, Abuja, port Harcourt etc would be forced to come home as they automatically lose the right to live freely in Nigeria. Those returning igbos and their money would help us start building or country from day one

So you import to Cameroon, pay duty, then move to biafra and pay duty. How long will that sea be dredged?

Imagine trying to learn how to fly a plane in the air.

You can't gamble with the destiny of millions of igbos with a trial and error country.

In your dreams do even 20% of south south comprise Igbo, talk less of 50 to 65%.

Thieves.

YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CORNER NIGERIA'S OIL RESOURCES UNDER THE GUISE OF "IGBO SELF DETERMINATION".

Nigeria will Crush you.

See your greedy, thieving self like 'Nigerias' oyel resorces'! Which hydrocarbons does your leeching, Fulani-owned 'one Nigeria' own?

Fool, ALL the oyel and gas in Igboland (note i said Igboland and not south-east) would be leaving with Ndigbo when we leave! And this is coming from a so called south-souther!

But all this argument is academic, because when Igbos leave, whatever is left of Nigeria will equally be dismembered...and you know it! This is why hell would first freeze over before you evil lot allow or encourage Igbos leave even with just the 5 states in the south-east!

You shameless parasites are so fixated on the hyrdocarbons in Igboland because you're unimaginative, lazy and can't survive without sharing the same country with Igbos!!

We are not doubting if china is rich. But lets look at the economics.

If it cost 5 billion to start and airline with 1 plane in both Nigeria and Biafra.

In Nigeria i have 50 flights a day and each flight make 100,0000. While in Biafra, i have 5 flights a day. Same 5 billion, where do you think ill recover my investment faster? Nigeria or Biafra?

There is a reason MTN came to Nigeria first before Ghana.

Do you think China will choose Nigeria over US market?

Us trade over $500 billion, Nigeria trade about $13 billion. So china will easily ignore Nigeria to protect US trade.
the purchasing power is no more there bear it in mind that once Biafra leaves others will want to leave too and to your surprise how many aboki have money to buy stuff how many, when we talk about money the reason why USA is super Rich is the have money relax when we get Biafra we will show u guys how to run a system not allow a aboki with no knowledge to governor smart people

first of all the vast majority of Igbos don't work for the federal government. Those who do can still be partly absorbed into the government of the new biafra. Others can find some thing else to do... like farming or buying and selling.

2. Majority of Igbos do not have property outside igboland. Those who do are mostly capable of protecting their assets. Emoney for instance can protect his house in Lagos just fine.
Those who have property but can't protect it would have to wait for negotiations with Nigeria by Biafran government. Don't forget Nigerians also have billions of dollars worth of assets in Biafra like Glo, GTbank oil and gas companies, factories and even houses.

3. Has Nigeria that has been independent since 1960 gotten everything ready? Is Nigeria self-sufficient? What the hell are you talking about.
lets assume the have property in Nigeria, SOuth African has property in Nigeria too the can sale it or renegotiate that implies with business you can't ask them to leave there house or businesses easily like that remember as the igbos has houses in Nigeria so did Nigeria have houses in Biafra and so too with business the will be inter Relation between two parties that's why we have foreign ministers representing both country like for example the skyscraper Nigeria built in NY key if Nigeria has issue with US know US will ask them to forfeit it undecided just think for once.

If you are aware of this, why going through the unnecessary hardship all in the name of having an independent.. All the questions the op raised, none of you have been able to give proper answers to them.

The new Biafra, are the leaders going to be from Jupiter or same SE region, cos if it's the latter, why have Igbo billionaires, Entrepreneurs, Musicians, Footballers not invested heavily in the same SE region.. Are they also marginalizing the region?

Why not turn your region into an eldorado before demanding for a new nation? Would you jump into a swimming pool you have no idea of the depth?

Kanu has been busy demanding money for ammunition, all because he is living large with the unrest in SE.. If Nigeria has marginalized SE as a region, can't Kanu and his group channel the funds into development of SE?

Kanu has been receiving funds for years regarding Ipob agenda about Biafra, then I ask?

Is Ipob creating any empowerment programs for Igbo youths?

Are they giving scholarship to students with high grade?

How many schools have they built, how many hospitals, roads?

Because they wanted to make buhari feel pained

I dont believe in that relax, when we have biafra. Igbos say " Ana esi na isi aru, ama uto nsi"( you can tell how sweet shit will be , from the smell of the fart) . All i see now is destruction, and it will get worse with high unemployment and insecurity in biafra.

You can't compare the purchasing power of Igboland with SE. Just like saying igboland generates more money for MTN than the rest of Nigeria.

How is that freedom?

The SE is underdeveloped with allocation from federal government.

There is unemployment already.

Now igbos leave police, army, navy, customs, telecoms, banks etc and return to the SE with their families.

No government, no jobs, no allocation. Without employment and source of livelihood. You tell the hungry igbos that they have freedom?

You will have anarchy and humanitarian crisis. Imagine UK telling their citizens to vote to leave EU.

When the leave EU, they will start thinking of how to provide food, shelter, electricity, employment infrastructure etc. After they have left.

No sane leader that truly loves their people will do that. They first prepare themselves to be independent before they ask to leave.

Ojukwu had no plans, he jumped into war. What was the outcome?
[s]
Today, kanu has no plans for a Biafra, but is fighting for it[/s].

Sorry he is not fighting for Biafra. He is using biafra to make money.

Kanu told you they offered him Biafra with 5 states and he rejected. Why didn't he take it, if he had any plans for biafra?
I really don't understand why you are having sleepless nights over south east. How will their freedom affect you. You can stay in your over developed Nigeria and let South East suffer their undevelopment in peace. Don't bother about how they will survive. It's for them to bother about not you.

You should channel your energy into attacking your slave masters and demanding a better life for Nigerians. All this negative energy you are generating is doing more harm than good...do you know how irritated I get or how I feel after reading your irritating posts? To be honest, I feel like locating a settlement of at least 8,000 Fulani people then drop toxic biological weapons on them with a drone...afterwards locate people like you and do the same.
