lampvoice:And how exactly will you be able to talk about all those other things you consider so important once Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp and every other avenue of discussion has been banned to preserve Buhari's fragile ego? How will you be able to talk about anything going wrong when Nigeria becomes like North Korea? You clearly have no idea of the vital importance of freedom of expression in holding the powerful to account. |

maadman:If Ortom and everyone else go along with your way of thinking, soon enough even this complaint you're making on here will be either impossible or illegal, having been banned for "national security reasons". What will you do then? 1 Like |

thebosstrevor1: Really!!! 1. Are you aware of the number of Nigerian products and services that are promoted on the platform every hour daily 2. Are you are of the number of Nigerians that earn their income on daily basis? What alternative has the government put in place? Mind you, no 2 social media platforms are the same. Do you know what economic damages this irrational illegal policy decision has done to the practice of digital marketing and other 21st century careers. 3. The security concerns of this government could be managed better using the same platform to reach the Nigerians. Can you tell me what better alternative for the government and the government agency to reach the Nigerans in mass communication? How many busy Nigerians still watch television so often? There are better tactics that can be used to manage crisis than using iron-fist as encouraged by Femi Adeshina. There will be life after this regime 1 Like |

What some people don’t know is that the river that will drown someone tomorrow started small. If our means of expressing our thoughts and opinions are muzzled, a day would come when your means of movement would be restricted too. Twitter ban is a little of what is to come if we all keep quiet. |

COMON TWITTER BAN YOU ARE CRYING WHEN WAR STARTS... When war starts, first of all, you won't have internet to post or comment. You won't be able to withdraw your money from the Bank, or even buy and sell. Shops, market, hospitals, transport, petrol stations, power companies, will all be closed. You will soon be left in darkness with no food, light or even water. People will loot, kill, destroy, rape, kidnap and there won't be law enforcement agents to be called upon. The few law enforcement agents will be protecting the politicians and important facilities. You won't even know where your brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers and children are. You will soon go hungry and you gradually die without even been hit by a bullet. Every where will be on fire. All you will hear, will be guns, day in, day out. It may last for days, weeks, months and even years. War no be like wetyn you dey watch for American movies, weh dey end after one hour oh. We will all end up in the forest The UN will do nothing than send you aids, and the powerful will hijack them. Today, look at Libya, Sudan, Iraq, Syria, Palestine Other countries will only be on the internet and be sympathising with us, but na we go suffer am. You want Biafra, Oduduwa, Niger-Delta Republic and Arewa Republic? Tell the law makers from your states to move a motion for referendum in the national Assembly. If we continue this Gun games, it will consume all of us, and we will loose everything, including lives. The person that asked you to carry guns, why is he not leading from the front with his own gun? MAY GOD CONTINUE TO PROTECT US ALL. MAY PEACE CONTINUE TO REIGN IN OUR COUNTRY! 1 Like |

blinking001:Don't mind him, he is the worst governor presently. He still owes over 2 years salaries. He uses Buhari to cover up for his inability to protect his people. The boys he equipped with weapons are the ones doing the killings in Benue State. He refused to blame himself and uses Fulani Herdsmen as a cover up. |

yusluvad:Ortom is more evil than FG. Someone who can't pay salaries, someone who will blame FG for what his boys did. Ortom will pay for all his sins only time will tell. No project from him after 6 years in government. |

Badsatan: You should rather shut your trap. I am not surprised that you can not make sense from my submission. You rather deserve the suffering from this administration. You obvoucly think like your president and his minister. Very backward. Ortom has not paid salaries? What does that has to do with Twitter ban policy of your federal governmenr policy. Let help your shallow mind/brain, on this what we should encouraging is to have a framework that allows each state to control, and deploy their resources for development of their states and not to concentrate all the national resources to the prodigal lots at the centre!!! Ok. |
