N20 Million is about $45,000 USD, so wherever you’re going, it’s almost inevitable that you’ll need to work hard, for someone else. That money or some of it can at least get you a down payment for a home.

Depending on your education preference, learn some skill, like plumbing... or go into the medical or IT field etc. You could also try to start some food business, cook in your home and supply Nigerians who are too busy to cook, or learn hair styling and advertise online. These are some self employment jobs people do part time or full time abroad

I will advise you to be open minded to do whatever is smart, legal, and pays the bills, while saving and educating yourself for the long term

Chai! See as you render the money useless as I just do my calculations just now

Dubai, UAE would be the best option for you, it would be better to get their Residency and from there you can travelled other countries easily plus your type of work is suitable for Dubai economy. My view .

My guy forget these doomsayers.

I was in Abidjan with my cousin for 6 months last year - you can import batteries of $30,000 and sell out within 6 weeks. I met Naija guys doing that in Abobo and Treichville. You then re-stock, shey you can do the maths for a month. In 6 months,. you will be bringing in £20,000 stock per month. No shaking.

Africa sweet with business plan - forget Europe and the States - no freedom.

Let me not talk about the beaches and enjoyment.

You go ball wella!

Yeah... Seychelles makes a lot of sense. It's in my long term plans. Have you been there? What's the experience like?
I have been to Seychelles, it doesn't look very lucrative to me except rental busineses.. but business is not why I want to relocate.

Simply try and gain admission for further studies for like two years to the country of you choice which will enable you pick a part time job while chunk part of your money is intact and navigate your way into your desired business. Cheers!

Good day Nairalanders..

I am in dire need of support from people who have travel experience.
When I say travel experience, I mean people who has relocated from Nigeria completely.

I will be 30 next month, single (have always hated the idea of marrying any lady in Nigeria because I have been unlucky with most of them i met as they seem complicated, inconsequential, dishonest and inexposed).

To make this short, I spent a lot of my youth working so hard to save enough money with the mindset to relocate from Nigeria as Nigeria depresses me alot.

I have been able to save nearly 20 million naira, excluding investments running in millions i wish to put on cargo to ship wherever I wish to relocate to.

Now, my problem is finding a suitable location or environment where i can relocate to without stress and problems.

Note that, I do not intend to work for anyone as I have my own skills.

United States, United Kingdom are out of my plans as I have realised their system are not built to favour me or my type of person and seem more like stress and a slavery environment to me.

I applied for Canada visa with hope to get work permit but has been on hold for months as they have been on lockdown since.

Having lived in South Africa before for a short while and felt like home there, I had it as an option but I am at crossroads, if I can have better suggestions from experienced people here.

Also, if anywhere in Europe is advisable (remember I do not wish to work for anyone except part time, in my field or if must require me to get a work visa)

Please I need advice.

Maybe you might be better off going to another stable African country, like Ghana or Rewanda.

If you could hustle to gather together that much money in Nigeria, why not hustle even more to keep multiplying it in the same Nigeria? Every other country will present its own set of challenges in terms of starting from scratch, fitting into a new society, getting your 'papers/stay', etc. Just saying. undecided

[life is not about money to some of us man,
There are people whose main priority in life is happiness, a working government, high life expectancy, favourable standard of living, security, etc it's not just about that money as you think. The op I can confirm to you have the mindset of white people that's why Nigeria things depresses him, there are so many people like him that don't just care about having all the world on their feet, all they need is living in a country where people use their common sense, where women don't marry for financial assistance, where people value education, a country where news updates is not about terrorism, kidnappers, accidents, tanker explosion etc. He's just like me. I don't give a Bleep about money I just want to enjoy European life as I am doing now having my peace of mind which most Nigerians don't have.

Comedy!

IF you believe USA and UK wont favor you, but Canada will, then I am speechless.

A lot of people don't understand that Canada has far less opportunities than USA and the UK. They get there and they`ll be stunned.

.

Sounds you are a DJ and a producer....Little wonder you made mention of Satafrica.

Well, since you will need sociable people with educated minds, I suggest you think of Either Switzerland (Zurich) or Norway.

Those are the two countries that I know meet what you want, but I do not know much about the Visa stuff.

And please, do not let anyone convince you to stay back in Nigeria. Everything is wrong with the country and don't forget the 'life expectancy in Nigeria' is 54.33 years.

That was recorded before Buhari open the door for his cursed underworld brothers.

I have been to many countries honestly.. including Mauritius.
Even though the country is beautiful and have most of the best things I have seen like Airport and so on, i do not really see anything special there except tourism. I would even prefer Seychelles to Mauritius.

Since u have lived in SA before, that’s your stomping ground. Entertainment industry there is equally as vibrant and lucrative as Nigeria. I’ve also lived there before.

20 million is about 50k canadian , i mean if u really mize the money you can stretch it but it wont get you much. You wont even be able to buy a home with it as you have no credit history. What are you "skills"? Why not use that money and send yourself to school here in Canada for software? You can qualify for a work permit after first semester and it will pay dividends once you graduate

Please remain in your country, because it's obvious you don't have plans with that money. You just want to squander it, tomorrow you'll be among those saying God did not try for you. The main reason people travel out of Nigeria are:
1) you're either travelling out of the country to enjoy your money
2) or you're travelling out of the country to work hard to make money because their money is of higher value in Nigeria.
So please since you don't belong in any of these categories kindly stay in your country.

Online Republic of Biafra…. grin grin grin

Seriously, though, you have up to N20 million, but instead starting a business (and scaling up), you would rather go be an economic REFUGEE in someone else’s country built up by their own citizens. The condition that Nigeria presently finds itself is the culmination of the actions of ALL Nigerians, by commission or omission. #TakeResponbility

What is your educational qualification?
If a graduate, UK/ Canadian is your best option
Apply for a year M.Sc , after your masters you will be given 2 years visa.
Instead of looking for a job, setup your business and make sure you are well dedicated and pay enough Tax ( discuss with a lawyer).
After the 2 years you will be given another 5years visa and after British Passport, once the business moves well.
Type of Business ( Just learn a trade of your passion )

SECONDLY
Since you are still single as a student look for a lady with genuine British or Canadian citizen paper and marry, then your stay is permanent.
If the lady is good continue to enjoy your home.
