Several groups have announced their intentions to protest nationwide on June 12, Democracy Day.

Police presence and response can be expected nationwide, including in Abuja where Government events are scheduled to celebrate the national holiday and in Lagos where simultaneous protests are planned.

The likely locations for the protests in Abuja will be at Unity Fountain (Hilton Hotel area), Wuse, Berger Roundabout, Aguiyi Ironsi Way, Airport Road, and British Circle. In Lagos, the likely locations for protests will be Lekki Toll Gate and Gani Fawehinmi Park. Calls for the protests suggest they may begin as early as 07:00 a.m.

Actions to Take:

· Avoid the areas of the demonstrations.

· Exercise caution if unexpectedly in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests.

· Monitor local media for updates.

· Keep a low profile.

As long as the protest is peaceful and some hoodlums and gunmen don't go about disturbing the peace of other citizens.
As long as they don't go about shooting other citizens.
As long as they don't go about burglarizing shops and banks and people private businesses,
as long as they don't go about burning buildings or raping innocent ladies.
They are welcome.....

This is a kinda peaceful demonstration/protest below.....

Lol na good country be that
Making sure their citizens are safe in a foreign land

We need the type of protest that will make the politicians hide and run for their lives.
When politicians start getting scared they will start making good laws and keeping their promises.

Biafra, oduduwa republic and whatever the south south are naming themselves should come together and one and pull out from these northern people. That is the only way we can start seeing good progress

Let every parent hold his child tomorrow. Nigeria is not a banana Republic where citizens do anyhow. The police have warned and they are ready to deal ruthlessly with nonchalant youths tomorrow. I am happy Igbos are not part of the charade tomorrow
