Good afternoon all, please I noticed anytime I put on my gen and I put it in generator the nepa icon comes up and the noise in the gen increases like it is overloaded then the circuit breaker in the gen flips.

Go look for better electrician and don’t make use of the gen till he works on your connection

Here's d list of load on it

1 medium ox
3 laptops
1 desktop
2 bulbs
With few phones
I told d guy i got it from.. He said it will adjust itself in due time. Pls is this true.. Or nah scam..

I changed the piston of I pass my neighbor tiger gen. It now overheats with smoke coming from under the tank and it stops working after some minutes with the starter rope becoming very stiff and unpullable.
The gen mech told me to add more oil to the petrol, I did but it's still the same cycle of overheating, stopping and stiff rope.

Does anyone here has a trusted person that sell generator in oyingbo,heard it's cheaper to buy there.kndly send me the number

3 litres should last for around 6 hours with your load.

My old generator elapaq 1.8Kva had the fuel tank in such away that fuel can never completely finish. I used to be annoyed how the raised the regulator inside the tank up. But now I understand that they were protecting my gen. I recall seeing some slimmy yellowish stuff in the tank, not knowing it was dirt. No wonder that gen never had issues after fuel finishes. I usually use it to sleep.
I still miss the gen. 5liters lasts from 10 to 12hrs depending on the load.
I went to ring it after it started shorting oil and that was the end of the gen, that's why I'm not an apostle of ringing engines, both car and generator.
Now I equally know that it's not good to run generator for long hours, else you short the life cycle of the generator

I bought mine at gbagada. I actually bought the last one in their showroom there. I was told tec Junior is very scarce and demand for it is high.

Good morning engineers, I just bought a freezer that cools with Nepa light only and not generator, I called the company, they said my generator's frequency isn't 50hz and thus wont cool the freezer, they sent an engineer and he confirmed it in my presence(frequency was fluctuating between 10 and 40hz without load). The engineer said I should change the carburetor but I read online that RPM affects the frequency, cant I adjust the rpm without changing the carburetor. I need your advice please

. Your budget is too low, you should be looking at topping it with almost 50k to get a 2.5kva generator now, thanks to current exchange rate, sellers are are cashing out.
