I like what i saw yesterday, the fighting spirit, despite note being a compact unit yet. I will give them a break,i will give this team more time to gel together before passing a comment. I do not know how many new players we have on this squad, however, i can make a guess that almost half of the team are new, hence they have to learn to play together, understand each others way of playing. Anyone that has ever played team sports, know it is not easy, has you have to rely on the next guy/babe. It was quite evident, has there was a lot off miscommunication. I can argue that all the portugese goals where caused by miscommunication and no communication.Trust me, its not easy. All in all, i feel good about the future for our Super Falcons. |

carbonado:That's what the American Women Football is known for, they fight till the end, they don't give up till the final whistle.. That zeal of we can do it is one thing I know Randy will bring to the team.. |

carbonado:We still have few more potent players who aren't available right now maybe by next camp we would get to see some of them.. •• Chiamaka Nnadozie •• Osinachi Ohale •• Patricia George •• Ngozi Ebere, right now i can't give any update concerning her... •• Halimatu Ayinde ruptured her ACL, till next year before we can have her back.. •• Ngozi Okobi •• Uchenna Kanu •• Chinaza Uchendu just recovered from ACL she sustained last year •• Christy Ucheibe •• Asheigh Plumptre (newcomer) Then we're still going to Scout more for some fresh talent especially for the DM and CM position.. |

Schemerkhiz:..... Yes that is very true... Never say die.. Play till the final whistle. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 9:23am On Jun 14, 2021 |
marvin906:Certainly we would have her in the team this year, All work that needs to be done to get her cleared is currently on going... |

carbonado:While the Swedish always emphasize more on Organization Which was what Thomas Dennerby was trying to bring in then... The Brazilian side are more of their Technical abilities... But right now Coach Pia Sundhage said she's bringing in the Swedish Organization, America never say die attitude couple with the Brazilians Technical abilities to the Brazilian Women National Team... I'm still waiting to see the results... |

Schemerkhiz:.....familiar names up here, i wish all our players that are injured quick recovery and also full recovery.... With injection of the new ladies and more communication,is it safe to say that we might still be the team to beat at the next womens nations cup. I know we have a target on our back. Please, when is the next womens nations cup? |

carbonado:Morocco hosting.... Would be around July to August 2022... I think it fall on the same period with the Women European Championship in England next year too.. |

carbonado:Sorry no, I meant Brazil Coach who's from Sweden.. She was the Former Coach of USA and Sweden. I like what I saw from Randy Waldrum during the game, He was communicating well with his Assistant Coaches so well.. There was a time during the game himself, the white Lady, the other white man, Coach Ann and Wemimo were all standing together discussing, I was like wetin all this guy's da talk |

Let's do something very crazy and leave the captain band on Toni Payne. I love her mentality she never hides on the pitch. |

BascoVanVeli:And what happens to Asisat? I have to agree it fits her arm though. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 9:59am On Jun 14, 2021 |
BascoVanVeli:Hahaha... Only the Coach have the final say in this oo and I don't think it would happen so soon.. By the way they respect Asisat Oshoala a lot, and with the way she addressed the team after the game against Portugal, I was amazed.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by JohnBullMySon: 10:00am On Jun 14, 2021 |
Schemerkhiz:My new crush ![]() I like her workrate. And those her sliding tackles were so clinical, with so much confidence. I was scared she was going to concede a penalty with one of those. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 10:01am On Jun 14, 2021 |
Schemerkhiz:They can respect whoever but 2 matches in a row and even further back if we go to Turkey, Toni Payne has been dragging us along. She finished with the captain band btw |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 10:02am On Jun 14, 2021 |
JohnBullMySon:Osinachi Ohale will be the first name to come into the Coach Randy mind if he wanted a change of Captain... This two have a good Chemistry together, from Houston Dash down to the Superfalcons.. He openly call Osi his best Defender.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 10:04am On Jun 14, 2021 |
JohnBullMySon:Yea nobody would agree to that but just a thought though |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 10:05am On Jun 14, 2021 |
BascoVanVeli:For your info.. Rita has refused to wear it that's why, besides Tochukwu.. Payne was probably next in terms of experience, and she has been excellent back to back from Club to the National Team |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 10:07am On Jun 14, 2021 |
Schemerkhiz:Of course she is his best defender but we all see that the talk about Onome retiring needs to stop before that lady actually calls our bluff. O boy! Without those two we are bad ooo |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 10:08am On Jun 14, 2021 |
Schemerkhiz:I saw that in the last match that is why I brought it up. All the players were scared and here comes a newbee taking the band and leading us back into the game. U have to think about it after those few minutes. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by JohnBullMySon: 10:14am On Jun 14, 2021 |
Schemerkhiz:Is she injured? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 10:37am On Jun 14, 2021 |
BascoVanVeli:But why wasn't she in the squad though? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by marvin906(m): 10:42am On Jun 14, 2021 |
Schemerkhiz:That was pretty fast.. Aside from her technical ability I think the publicity will be welcome |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 10:42am On Jun 14, 2021 |
GeneralDae:I think she is injured |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 10:44am On Jun 14, 2021 |
Michelle is good but she can't be a right back for us at this moment. Her defending is poor if I'm being honest. Very strong player but at the end of the day she is a winger not a full back. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 10:53am On Jun 14, 2021 |
Schemerkhiz:Was confused for a moment seeing her playing that role that is naturally for Okeke, while okeke is still on the pitch. They should allow Alozie play her Winger role abeg. Once again, Oluehi unable to organize the Defense. The USA attack won't even need enter the box before they bang shots at her. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 11:01am On Jun 14, 2021 |
JohnBullMySon:Na goal goal o. I doubt this Defense would not conceed at least 2goals. I think we need see Nnadozie asap. Besides that Defense is on makeshift mode. Alozie should be made to play her natural role and okeke to RB. Ordega can start from bench vs USA. Them fit spell Nigeria sha. |

daveP:The fact that USA haven't battered both Portugal and Jamaica should be some sort of comfort for us ... |
