@Goke7..
Just ignore them.
I finally agree with people that call Igbos 'wailers'.
They are suffering from PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder).
They will always be unhappy, disorganized, dissatisfied, confused, and hyperactive.

The second Niger bridge being built will serve Kano abi? Why are you guys so greedy?

I laugh whenever Yorubas will be counting all the surrounding villages in Oyo as part of Ibadan. This is a globally recognized platform with credibility, it's not all these oluwole and quota system fake statistics they keep churning out in Nigeria all because of politics.

International organizations work with official stats from governments. As far as we don't have a proper census, every Nigerian figure that flies around remains estimates and guesswork.

It is only a stupid person will believe this trash. Kano population is far more than that of Lagos and bigger than the number quoted.
If our main Cities are as small as in this trash, where do we get the estimated 200 millions Nigerians data we used to quote.

Someone will hide under one keyboard somewhere and start typing rubbish for irresponsible people's consumption.

Over Sabi dey worry them. Corona virus couldn't tame them. Let them continue.

Maiduguri
Infact Going by this Publication, This Stats is a complete rubish. The Only Viable location in Borno state right is Maiduguri and 100s of Thousand of people if not Millions have moved from the Adjoining Town to the city there by making the city a great Metropolis. The state is now accomodating more than 50% of the entire Population of Borno state due to Boko Haram Insurgency. So the figure for Maiduguri is False

Ilorin
Though i am not from Kwara state or from Ilorin, But i School in Ilorin and Lived in Ilorin for 5years, I studied geography at Unilorin, so this gave me idea of the breakdown of Kwara state census, as at the Last Census, The official Population figure acording to NPC was 1.3m(that was 15years ago). Ilorin alone has more than 50% of the Kwara Population and as at the Las count, Kwara has more than 3m population. Where did you see this figure? Do you want to Tell me the population of 1.3m in 2006 decreased to 1.2m in 2020?

Abuja

As far as Abuja is Concerned, Are you talking about FCT or ABUJA city? Cos i am still yet understand where you got the Information from.

I wonder how we all believe that ilorin is more populated than Aba
Like
I have been to both cities
Remove unilorin from ilorin
I see nothing there,

Maybe they were only talking about ABA (not including the metropolitan area, like Ariaria, osisioma, obingwa and ugwunagbor which are actually more populated than Aba city itself)

Cos by all standard ABA as a City is has a population far above 1.6 million
If you have been to the City, you will actually know that
You must be crazy

So you think international organizations will be positing that Nigeria has the 7th largest population in the world without basis.

You must think they are jeko jeko people like the Igbos that think they 'develaup' everywhere grin
I really would like to see this their Biafra be. It will just be a comical sight. Full of illiterates and ritual killers.

Although Lagos is the most populous state in Nigeria, it is pertinent to note that the population of Lagos as a state was what was represented in the article above. However, other places represented in that article are just a part of a state.

NB it wasn't clear if the population representation for Kano, Kaduna e.t.c meant for it's state or the capital city in such state since they share the same name

Read this screen shot and you’ll realize Igbos are the most gullible educated being in Nigeria..

I’m sure they wouldn’t really salivate if they understand Whatsup.

Took this screen shots from what OP posted..

Cities like Lagos, Kano, Ibadan have a large land mass. They ought not to be there self but there has been increase in population - hence why there are build up in Urbans.

Onitsha is there cuz of their small land mass..

All population figures are estimates because those organizations are aware that many countries don't have national database for seamless capturing of citizens' bio-data. I won't reply you more than this.

It's statistics like these that make me give up on Nigeria! Imagine taking from Peter and handing over to Paul....even when Paul despises Peter!

Look at Onitsha, that's the second most populated and cosmopolitan area in Nigeria...the city get's next to nothing by way of federal infrastructure, recognition and assistance! Almost all it's developmental and governance challenges are left to the Anambra state gov't to manage! This is as the evil gov't in Abuja is stealing their hydrocarbons and refusing to recognise them as a oil producing state!

Then there's kano, that has benefited from the ridiculous number of LGAs the northern miliatry oligarchs handed over to them! They also benefit financially from the ojoro census whereby they receive a lot more than Anambra from the federation account! All these are the financial benefits you know and hear of.....over the past decades, the cunning muslim northern rulers of Nigeria have devised many other stealthy ways to greedily corner even more of Nigerias' resources to their region!

Lagos, as we all know, benefited from a lot of federal gov't infrastructure! The present Nigerian political-economy in play has also benefitted them by way of the pre-eminent commercial and industrial status the city holds in 'one Nigeria'! This city, owned and invested in by ALL Nigerians is presently being administratively controlled by just one ethnic group as we speak! When you ask them, they will tell you the capital of the country moved to Abuja since 1991 (i think that was the year) and so you should remove your 'covetous' eye from Lagos because it now belongs to them....and they're even doing you a 'favour' by allowing you to live there! lipsrsealed

How is Onitsha cosmopolitan?

Southwest behaves like Democrats. You believe it's government responsibility to take care of the people hence the government levies high taxes on the people but for Southeast, we are Republicans, we like low taxes from the government and believe that its better we take care of our families and our communities instead of leaving everything to the government.

We love our freedom better than government handouts.

High IGR that doesn't reflect on everyday peoples lives.
