You cannot forcefully steal people's ancestral lands and give cattle farmers. |

We don enter one chance for this country. So priority is what the pastoralist can and cannot afford. Doesn’t matter if it’s illegal. Or if indigenous people are going to be displaced. Lemme tell y’all something... The plan is to give these herdsmen a permanent foothold in the states wherever RUGA is established. 30 or 50 or 100 years from today, they shall have grown large enough to challenge or even displace indigenous people of the entire state. Don’t forget that every RUGA settlement will become a home for every Fulani; local or foreign, Nigerian or Malian or Nigerien or Congolese. Stay woke guys! Their mission is on... |

Restrict Fulani herdsmen to the North Government project should be for all Nigerians not one ethnic group. Beside that Fulani herdsmen don't have good reputation in the South, nobody wants to accommodate aggressors and killers. |

Why the force? It will not be well for all those who brought APC to power. |

Let it start from north and end in southwest. Any thing seen inside Eastern bushes remains a bush meat.

Buhari should concentrate more on the lands of those that voted him..... Especially South West lands... Tinubu is in support of open grazing I heard Oyo and ondo are already onboard BTW fulani herdsmen and Yoruba are one.... |

Buhari is deceiving himself if you forcefully taken people lands it will not go down well. In facts nobody will tell them to leave when their cow is dying. Cow is now your priority right many things are there but cow is number one. |

Hmmmmmn, this unintelligent govt have refused to listen to the voice of reason. U claim to be a democratic govt, but yet u want to dictate laws and forcefully shove it down the throats of the so called ppl who elected you. Just like the military regimes did in the past. This is no longer 1984. They are about to bite off more meat than they can chew.... |

400,000 hectares of land for less than at 4 cows per hectares that's 1.6 million cows per year ....at $700 per cow u get around 1.2 billion dollars at most as income to the farmers ...tax of say 20% u get around $220 million dollars per year at best ooh ......job created 1 per 20 hectares ...20,000 low paying jobs around minimum wage 400,000 hectares of cassava would get at least 15 tons per hectares with improve roots ... That's 6 million tons per year ...this can support industrial cluster of cassava flour plant , ethenol plant , glucose plant , pharmaceutical grade start plant ,this can also support 2 million pigs per year from the waste from this factories and farm ... This can create over 50,000 high paying jobs directly and 20000 indirect jobs ...the value of products generated would be over 6 billion dollars Which is better |

Having realized that certain parts of the country will overlook their excesses irrespective of the magnitude, the fulani led foundamentalist federal government of Nigeria seems to be becoming even bolder and bolder with everyday that passes. The government is stiffening her positions on almost every radical sectional front and is more or else doubling down on many tribally charged policies. This only happens when the opposition is tepid and full of sellouts. |

This is one of the vows Buhari made before he became the president, he is so determined to use his presidential power to recover grazing route for his tribe before he leaves office. He has succeeded in other goals, 80% of northerners in control of power and resources. Cow related issue is one of his priority as if Nigerians lives depend on COW, he want to use ruga to get lands in the south but didn’t work. Now it’s another method of recovering grazing routes. All governors should give out lands for RUGA it’s a way to show their commitment to one Nigeria. It’s not just by saying it. Let’s continue to deceive ourself Happy one Nigeria by fire by force. Even if it’s by pretense, just pretend to be one. |

The good thing is that, the Easterners will never accept this, no matter what they want to do, I don't know for other southern regions. |

mrvitalis:I’m not in support of RUGA but this analogy no make sense. Nigeria is already the highest producer of cassava in the world. What are we doing with it? Make them just leave the land idle for there. |
