dmbb:We are the poorest yet our cities have the best estates and neighborhoods in Nigeria! We don't have land yet have you seen us trying to chase our neighbors away from their lands? The joke is on you parasites trying to steal other people's resources forever. At least, Igbos would allow everyone to control their lands and resources in Biafra. |

Elock1:Buy landed property at Uyo now that's still affordable. Lagos is congested. Calabar weather is better but town is tiny. Uyo weather is harsher than Calabar but it's a more advanced town with better roads than most States. My next stop will be the Obudu Ranch, I want a holiday home on those mountains |

murphyibiam15:Bro, you need to understand that cultural diversity does not kill a nation. Even two brothers and communities fight and kill themselves. However, what drives a nation into prosperity are these factors: justice, equity and fairness. Those factors are tested as events unfold in the country, but the leaders of the country must continue to work on them so as to have a prosperous nation. There's no country that has more diverse ethic groups like the United States. Despise that, the US is one of the most successful countries in the world. Please do well to enlighten others. |

[quote author=Xhuntra post=102850417]jokers!!. AKWAIBOM and CRS remains part of Biafra. Even ur ancestors are aware that Biafra republic can only be immagined and not actualized. Akwa Ibom and Cross River are not part of biafraternity especially now that her leader MNK has bn caught. Mumu Ipob group with selfish ambition. |

“One of the swiftest ways of destroying a kingdom is to give preference of one particular tribe over another or show favor to one group of people rather than another. And to draw near those who should be kept away and keep away those who should be drawn near” Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio. This is Nigeria problem today, it did not start with Buhari, it got really worst under him. |

Princedapace:UN will grant permission for Referendum, FG will refuse, there will a little protest against FG action, and international bodies will enforce UN mandate, Referendum will take place. Cross River will ask to join, so will be a new Country of about 15 million people. With Deep Sea Port, Oil, Gas, and International Airport and best infrastructures. Buy a piece of Ibom now |

"The Akwa Ibom group alleged that the Nigerian state had not treated its indigenes fairly and it therefore wanted its own republic." I agree! This argument is based on substance. 60% of money Nigeria spends today comes from Akwa Ibom state. Yet, when you examine the composition of the Nigerian government, Akwa Ibom state has zero representation. The Yorubas, ibos and Hausas contribute nothing to national treasury, but consume 99% of the federal income. That is unfair to citizens of Akwa Ibom state. But why did it take this long for the citizens of Akwa Ibom state to recognize that they have been mistreated by the Nigerian government? Not that mistreatment of Akwa Ibom state started yesterday. It has been like that since the end of the Nigerian civil war. I blame Akwa Ibom state leadership for not being forceful in demanding the state right for fair share at the national level. So, filling a complain at the UN is the first step. Next step is filling similar complain at the international court of justice. After the UN and the international court of justice results are released and the answers are not in our favor, then, citizens of Akwa Ibom state should consider a formal declaration of independence. That would allow citizens to sign contracts obligations with the United states to acquire weapons of war and seek help from foreign governments. |

Xhuntra:You're wrong, you thus fulani terrorists trying to cause division and fights. If the Akwa Ibom and Cross River people wants to go on their separate ways, it's ok. No one has the right to hold or force anybody into a union. And that is what Biafra stands for. |

SpringofLife:SEPARATION IS THE BEST AT THE MOMENT. ABOK.I s are not ready to move Nigeria forward. They used their own problems to rub all regions of Nigeria. The banditry in Zamfara state or Niger state does not tie your state or region down. The herdsmen killing does not affect you since you are on your own with full nationality and sovereignty that you exercised within your territorial state. |

NnadyAutos:They have no business with Bayelsa. Going with Bayelsa will automatically mean going with Rivers and Delta too, and that would be their greatest undoing. Any breakaway republic that goes with Rivers/Bayelsa/Delta South will suffer the same faith that befell South Sudan. Mark it somewhere! |

Xhuntra:Shut up there. Everyone has the right to choose where they wish to belong. Ibom republic is good news. At least it is now clear Igbos are not the only people that want to secede from the east. Now it is official that Akwa Ibom people also want to secede. This destroys the narrative that the Fulanis wish the world to see. Now it will be hard for them to link seccession in the east to just Igbos. There are now two dots in the east |

Xhuntra:This the reason why nobody takes Biafra serious cause you are all a bunch of blood sucking opportunist, them never give the idiots Biafra them don dey claim the land of all their neighbors! The igbos I know today would have been 10 times worse than the Fulani they are complaining of today if Ojukwu succeeded in 67. |
