Will Buhari employ Nigeria armed forces to enforce his grazing routes thing or what?

Soldiers in other countries fight because they are convinced over the political importance of what they are sent to fight for.

But in Nigeria, some poorly educated soldiers can even obey orders to line up their children and fire them. Shame. What unemployment can bring.

You are right. That's because we allowed it to be so because we denigrate cattle business in the South. Outside Nigeria, there are many tribes that engage in cattle businesses. Let many of our youths in the South also become herdsmen. I am telling you, this normadic cattle business is lucrative. Our jobless youths on Southern Nigeria can tap into it now that the Federal Government wants to subsidize it heavily. The gracing routes are for herdsmen. Our unemployed youths can as well become herdsmen to occupy the grazing routes in their communities. The Federal Government has not come out openly to state that the grazing routes are for the Fulanis. They say it's for the herdsmen. We can also (as youths in the South) become herdsmen. "Cunning man die: cunning man kill am". I hope you understand.

Besides, grazing routes will not allow cows to move into cultivated sedentary farms. Vehicles have roads they pass through. That is why they don't veer into people's homes.

I agree with you that willing Southern states could use the Federal government's subsidy of the nomadic cattle business, to create employment opportunities for unemployed youths in their states. One important factor you did not take into consideration in your write-up, is that states who are beneficiaries of the RUGA scam, will not be able to discriminate against other Nigerians from using the established grazing routes in their territory which means we are still going to be confronted with issues of Fulani herdsmen upheavals in our states.
The Asaba Declaration, remains till date, the best solution to the Fulani herdsmen crisis.

The nomadic cattle business subsidy of the Federal government, is nothing but a bait by Buhari and his gang of marauders, to take our lands by deceits, same way they did in Yorubaland, many years back.
We should be wise this time around!

We don enter one chance for this country.

So priority is what the pastoralist can and cannot afford.

Doesn’t matter if it’s illegal.

Or if indigenous people are going to be displaced.

Lemme tell y’all something... The plan is to give these herdsmen a permanent foothold in the states wherever RUGA is established. 30 or 50 or 100 years from today, they shall have grown large enough to challenge or even displace indigenous people of the entire state. Don’t forget that every RUGA settlement will become a home for every Fulani; local or foreign, Nigerian or Malian or Nigerien or Congolese.

what do you mean by one chance is there cattle grazing routes before in Nigeria. If the answer is yes who have encroach on them. If they have have encroached the government have the right to take it back

Government projects should be for all Nigerians not one ethnic group. Beside that Fulani herdsmen don't have good reputation in the South, nobody wants to accommodate aggressors and killers.

The same FG carried out aerial bombardment on forests in the east... Speaking of double standard.

Academicwizman:

Another clue: The FG says that they know where the bandits are in the forest but they don't want to destroy the forest? Why? That will introduce poisonous substance into the forest destroying the vegetation and whatever they produce from the vegetation. This is all about concerns for corporate profit. Let us think rationally and not with hatefulness.

[quote author=Grace001 post=102869714]This is one of the vows Buhari made before he became the president, he is so determined to use his presidential power to recover grazing route for his tribe before he leaves office. He has succeeded in other goals, 80% of northerners in control of power and resources.
His other vow is to find crude oil in the north

FG are creating the conducive environment for fulani herdmen using federal government resources while other businesses owned by others are been taxed by the federal government without getting any form of assistance. It's well.

The FG said it's to reduce and stop clashes between farmers and herders (fula:nis ) so that indirectly means the gra:zing r:outes are for the herders ( f:ulanis ).

There are already Southerners who rare and sell cattles and have ranches. So stop saying rubbish.

Let your own children aspire to be mili:tant herders.

Youths in southern Nigeria can also become herders. Cattle business only appears to be exclusive to Fulanis in Nigeria because we neglected it in Southern Nigeria.

He can, let him go ahead. Only that any cow or herder violating the open gracing bill are SARA ( free gift ). So shall it be, Amen.

The amount of energy Buhari is putting into Malu matter, if he can give 1/4 of it to tackle Nigerian issue, the country will be competing with some developed countries.

You are the one that is assuming that the grazing routes are exclusively for the Fulanis. You can't be blamed for that because obviously, they dominate the business. However, I am not aware of any law that says it's only the Fulanis that can engage in herding or that can use the grazing routes FG has not said so. We are unconsciously ceeding the grazing routes to the Fulanis if we keep distancing ourselves from it. Let southern youths also become herdsmen. We will all use the grazing routes together. After all, the Igbos do not stop anyone from becoming a spare part dealer.

WHO IS THE NORTH PLEASE

I am quite aware of who they are;
their challenges, limitations and deliberate policies of their leaders, to render them powerless and ineffective, but good conscience and fear of God, will not make me condemn them because I am a beneficiary of their good heart, compassion and total show of Love, when I was in their land.
I am equally aware that whatever problems or challenges they have, are deliberately inflicted on them by their leaders and it does not in any way, reflect who they are.

Mention one ethnic group that graze cattles from South to North. There are many Yorubas in cattle business but strictly for commercials not roaming about the bush. It is not acceptable.

If 4 states can donate 400,000 hectares of land for ranching, then why are they still looking for grazing route? 400,000 hectares of land is not a small land oo. How many cows are owned by Nigerians?

That’s the size of approximately 4-5 local government areas put together in any average state in Nigeria. Buhari wants to forcefully installl Fulani to take over some States first before embarking on others. Dead on arrival plan!

In southern Nigeria, southern Nigerian owned cattle go from the ranch to the market and are killed in the market or sold alive to people celebrating an occasion.

that's why to people like you it looks as if southern Nigerians are not in the cattle business...

the people who kill cattle in the market in southern Nigeria are southern Nigerians..

The government of cows, for cows and by cows. No wonder some people called it zoo. By the time Buhari is done with Nigeria, the one Nigeria chanting goats from the south would be alright. Cows are now more important than Nigerian citizens. There was a country indeed!!
