This is surely a remarkable success. Thanks for sharing your experience. But how do you market them ? Kindly share how you sell them and is it a productive business. Thanks

To start with, tomato production is very productive if you know your way.

To market, we first do a market survey. Then we see if our product can compete with the produce in the market. Then we consider the current prevalent price in the market. Then we can start talking to the necessary people. Sometimes, all you need is just one or two links to the market. If your produce are good and the price is competitive, then you should not have plenty issues.

Meanwhile, never think you can come and do one man mopol. It doesn't work in the agriculture sector. This paragraph can take a whole day to explain.

However, this is just one of the many approaches to marketing your tomato

Greetings House,
Please I need a committed staff to be in-charge of my farm.

To resume possibly this Monday, there is provision of accommodation, and the salary is a good one.

Thanks

I made a prediction sometime last year, I never knew it would come to pass this early.
People in the south west and south east need to wake up from slumber. The northerners have done well in terms of being the major players in agriculture, but the southerners have even better potential to produce food by/for themselves.

Just a few days of (tomato, pepper, onion, etc) prevented from getting to the south, we already see what's happening in the market.

If you have intentions to go into agriculture, you better graduate from intentions to taking steps.

The roof should've been made with UV sheet, but I had to use large nylon/sac material which has a little semblance with UV sheet, but way lesser in price and quality to UV sheet

It depends on the type of tomato you planted and the average quantity/weight it can produce.

If your tomato plant can produce 1.5 to 2kg per plant, then you should expect 30 to 40 big baskets (of 50kg)

Well done sir! Please what type of green net did you use? Is it the type used for constructing those greenhouses? That usually have green nets wrapped at the sides and the transparent HDPE UV films on top? If that's the type, did you dismantle the one you initially set up?

Thank you. This is a much cheaper version of the other one, we did not use UV films or any of the standard materials. This one is more like a make shift nursery house.
But we did not dismantle the other one
