The Fulani have been around longer than that tho. They lived quietly with their Hausa hosts for decades. When their numbers became high enough, they successfully converted some of the monarchs to Islam.

It is Okun people that will decide that one and not Ibiras and Igalas. So for those Ijaw or Uhrobo talking trash about Igbo groups in their states of origin, you have your work cut out for you.
