Good day, My I-20 arrived 17th June. The earliest date available is January, 2024. I don't know if this is an error. Should I pick it? I want to book for emergency appointment

It’s not an error. Pick the date and request for emergency immediately. Your start date is very close you will get it approved.

Hello everyone I will be applying very soon to go to the embassy for my MBA I have been denied f1 student visa three times in the past this will be my 4th attempt even though I’ve been to the US about 8 times in the past on a b1/b2 visa and always returned(never stayed more than 6 weeks) I have a good travel history and I also have strong ties to my home country Nigeria as my family own multiple companies comprising of hotels, food and beverage factories and rental properties. I think the mistake was during my first interview I applied for a community college I didn’t know the difference because I’ve never tried to school there before and got wrong information from a bad source and went to the embassy with it also during the first interview i told the consular that my father has a vacation home in the US and there is where I will be staying while going to school and I got rejected but the second and third times I used a proper university with no funding everything was to be fully funded by my father who is a businessman and also a retired civil servant I would like to know if the denial has permanently tarnished my profile and good travel history and would it possible to get the visa this time as I have no funding everything is still being fully funded by my father was it a trump administration thing to limit foreign students please I need advice on what to do because I’m seriously considering giving up on this American dream and trying another country should I consider going ahead with it or I should just focus on another country will the previous denials limit my chances of approval? Please guys I need your help and advice should I just forget about it and go to another country please I need you guys help and sincere advice please anyone thanks and God bless(PS: my school fees is $33000 I have no funding and my statement of account is $34000 will this also be an issue?)

Good morning guys, I don't know if this is the right platform to request this help, and if not I'm sorry.

Please I need to make an online payment for MAGOOSH GRE STUDY PLAN, have been having difficulty paying with master and Visa cards, even with my paypal. Please can someone help me with the payment while I credit with Naira. I'll be grateful if any can link me with someone who can assist. All you'll just do is "I'll give my details, the person login to my magoosh account, choose the plan and make the payment thats all.

Have been a member of this forum too, THREE TIMES VISA DENIALS, LAGOS 2018, MAY, AUGUST ND DECEMBER.... For MSc then but now I applying for PhD after staying back here in Nigeria to get my MSc from Babcock.
Wish everyone going for visa interview success. Thanks

My people no vex o! Na question I ask.
Good day everyone,
I need guidance.
I am considering doing a masters degree in the US in one of the STEM disciplines. I noticed there are so many schools claiming to be recognized in the US. My question is, how do I know which school is recognized and will add value to me as per recognized degree for green card/ permanent residency pursuit.

To begin with, @ the bolded. You're always adviced not to take this as a do or die affair, or you'll most likely keep getting denials. Why consider suicide. It shouldn't even be an option. There are over 190 countries in the world, USA is only one option of many.

You have a good travel history, but from what you've said I think you've had various discrepancies in your applications - you've told lies at several points. I'll advice you give a last shot, and if you get another denial you can try other countries.

In your next application fill the DS-160 by yourself print it out and know everything you filled off your head. Also, if you can try to get some sort of funding from your school no matter how little. I also don't know the school you applied to, you can try a higher ranked university, Or take a standardized test. - this just reinstates your genuineness as a student.

The aim is try to change something about your application before going to apply again.

Location is Abuja. What do I do now?

lmao ah which location
You literally cannot do anything and you cannot pick a date in October … your best plan is to wait and see if they open dates in July since emergency is showing October
It’s people going for spring that can pick October not fall

Take it and furnish your school with the information, and ask for late resumption.

If I was in your shoes, I would forget America for now and face UK,New Zeeland, Canada or Australia when I am done with my course there I will then face USA for PhD.
In your case money is not a problem as you claimed.

I really think Germany is a good location. You could get your Bachelors & Masters there and move to USA for PhD. But if you like the USA better & would like to move now, still fine.

What I don't understand is why you think anyone will list cheap schools for you to apply to...you didn't even post any course to start with!

There's more than 200 pages of this current thread. Go through it, you'll see a lot of schools. Use google to start your search.

Finally, ask specific questions if you have to but don't expect to be spoon fed.

Best wishes.
