Badonasty:
Will you old men give the youth chance to participate...our minister for youth isn’t a youth
Then join politics with other youths, contest for public office, and appoint your own minister of youths..

Nigerian youths have a million and 1 excuse to show how apathetic and incompetent they are..

You guys should keep deceiving yourselves.

It’s obvious this is a foolishly planned attempt at defending Social media censorship.

Which mumu talk be this?

Social media has elevated more than 10% of Nigerian Youths out of poverty which the government of Buhari /Osibanjo has no clue on how to tackle.

Without social media Nigerian Youths will be in darkness.
Re: Osinbajo: Social Media Won’t Transform Lives, Join Politics by pedel: 11:28pm On Jun 21, 2021
Would you have resigned?
Did Goodluck Jonathan resigned or the power was wrestled from him?
The old politicians won’t relinquish power to the youth. It’s not done anywhere.
If you want the power join politics and fight for it.

Cruseder:
and the old men no wan resign

NGpatriot:
Is that not why they are asking you to join politics and contest for public office to drive out the old men?

Sometimes I wonder what the lazy Nigerian youths want?

Is it to camp out on social media, rant, and bark like bingo instead of doing the hard work to come together, to strategize, to seek credible youths to back, support, and sponsor for elected office to change things?

...but of course, the only thing Nigerian youths know how to do is make noise and bark like lazy parrots on social media, they have zero ideas, zero solutions, just noise.
Is it a must the youth must join
If systems are working u don't need the youth joining shit to effect change
Are all Americans politicans
Are all the youths voting or in a political party
When the constitution has made it clear that no matter what u do
Heads or tail u loose
The issue is not joining or not joining
The issue is the constitution
Once u have a people driven constitution
U don't need to be in politics for things to work

Youths join politics when entry form alone is #30m or above? How many youths have seen #1m before? Only God can save this country.

Why not take our voting online. These would enable the youths to vote from home

Nothing scares the Nigerian activist more than the word grassroots.

Online gra gra and big grammar plus extreme moaning

Why this government is so scared of social media is what I don't understand. Why fear the peoples voice if your hands are clean? I guess they don't want to get the Gaddafi and Hosni Mubarak treatment. Osinbajo in particular is a huge disappointment.

Do you know that people are earning a decent livelihood from these platforms in a horrible economy ?
Banning these platforms is a stupid thing, the useless government only know how to apportion blame instead of solve problems.

Both of you are correct!
That's two different ways his statement can be understood.

But to be on a positive side, follow no. 2, but no. 1 truly expresses the reality of things —the way things be for this country.

This is surprising!!! Like for real...You lots are just cowards and hypocrites. Look at how scanty the people hurling insults on him are. However, If this same statement had been made by Buhari or any Northerner, it will be enjoyment galore for dimwits. You'll see them dancing and insulting him as gworo chewing blood sucker. But now, its your people you keep quiet.

Pathetic lots!

It is not a must, but youth participation won't hurt.

Where is the sense and wisdom in crying about old politicians making the decisions while the youths sit on the sidelines making all manner of excuses not to participate to shape their own existence and future?

Nigerian youths can not have it both ways
