what do you mean by criminal act, people who blackmailed almost got me sacked cause I borrowed money I was going to pay back before I was isolated cause of covid19

They called my dad, my girlfriend, my boss, my ex's, even those I had land dispute with, tag me criminal and all sort of names.

They blackmailed me till my dad paid the loan, my girlfriend also paid same loan, it didn't end there the message was still circulating, I came back wrote to them to cease from such act, yet they kept on doing it.

What would rather have me do?

Perhaps when they called her on her due date she didn’t pick or she picked and said she wasn’t going to pay and or she doesn’t have the money to pay back a lot of them Soldiers will threaten you at first and which is not acceptable by a collector & after several calls per day cos they’ll call you the whole day to pay if you stop picking after it’s get to over a few days the collector is forced to take drastic measures which they’ll tell you they’ll send messages to your contact before they do
Some applicants can be so arrogant and will say you can do whatever you like you don’t know who i am i will sue you guys bla bla a debtor for that matter
A collector who’s job depends on this loan recovery will be forced to take actions.

If they call u to make your payment at A particular time and u promise but failed to make the payment is probably when they will send the messages
