NorthernshoreTS:You are right o. Getting admission is a task of its own. Can you imagine that my admission to UNBC took more than two months, long after I have even submitted visa application o. True true, we need to celebrate our not so tiny victories. Four whole months? Jeez! Congratulations dear, next is the Visa approval. |

1Girllykdat:So sorry about this, I would suggest you focus on 2022 and don't put all your eggs in one basket. You have a good Academic Standing based on the percentage you mentioned. Check out other Schools in Canada who have your Areas of Interests for Research. If you need a detailed guide & explanatory information on how to go about Fully-funded Graduate School in Canada, take your time and go through the contents in the link below https://www.nairaland.com/6567181/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/175#102878887 As someone mentioned earlier, USA, is a very good alternative, infact USA has more Fully-funded Graduate opportunities than Canada. And you can cross from USA to Canada There was a tweet I saw week and it goes thus, If you’re looking for a country where you can easily get an admission, consider UK If you’re looking for a country where you have better scholarship options, consider US If you’re looking for a country where you have better chances of getting a foreign passport, consider Canada If getting a scholarship is a big part of your study abroad plans, and getting one in Canada is looking elusive, you can work out a smart plan Consider the US as a study destination, and work towards your Canadian Permanent Residence application from there. That’s a smart plan. Credits : @Olufemiloye Example of a Smart plan is this PHD from another Country to PR in Canada https://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/523#100850818 USA might/might be your stepping stone to Canada If you need a detailed guide & explanatory information on how to go about Fully-funded Graduate School in USA, take your time and go through the contents in the link below https://www.nairaland.com/6354180/general-usa-student-visa-enquiries-part/238#102591173 Finally, there are graduate scholars (MSC, PHD, Post Doc) on this platform you can leverage on their posts and also ask questions Regards |

Good evening everyone , I’d like to add, if you have the doc for nse, submit everything if you have them instead of waiting for them to ask. I personally submitted everything for nse and in my loe told them , I’m eligible for nse and that I have submitted everything as with upfront medical. This is just to reduce the waiting time. Those guys are now picking up applications and if your file is complete, it makes things easier for them too and fast at your end . |
