There's this trick that Poco taught...

Go to the front-page (with your Coco monicker), scroll down and mail the mods.

Let's see if it'll work...
Yes it works I’ve used it before.

Just don’t feel like mailing them . As far as I can still see all the delicious food I’m good. It’s not as if I cooked anything that I want to post anyway

I never knew ogiri was made with melon seeds. Well done.
Don't forget to show us when it ferments. cheesy
Haba cheesy
I knew that since I was a child. The ogiri you buy in the market is melon 100%. Ùgba is very costly and scarce. No diff anyway. You can use sunflower, pumpkin or any seed like eqwusi.

Do you know in Gambia, they prepare their own differently but the name is ogiri.

Korea use soya beans. By product is soy sauce. Their own is very tedious.

Ingredients -
- 1 small pack of Zobolin
- 1 ripped pina (pineapple) peeled, diced and blended to be very smooth and light (no water added)
- half a kettle of boiled water

Process is simple. Put zobolin in a bowl and add the hot water. Let it stand and then sift out wasted leaf.
Add your blended pineapple and stir.
The frost developed when I stirred.

I didn't add any sugar. Not sure if sugar would have made it not frosty.

Thanks. I will try a lower version of this

Our locust bean is called dawadawa in Hausa..our girls make it,they know how to mix it. My mum had a lady who supplies it and other spices to her if I can remember. Avocado cup filled with chilled pineapple slices and fresh mulberries.

A client gave me the avocado three days back after boasting about having the best tasting and high quality avocado tree on the Plateau. Well...well, he was right! This is the best avocado I've had since I can remember. They were whitish kind of, creamy and tasty

The tomatoes on the background was given to me by a satisfied client. Premium tomatoes only. cheesy

Sorry please I'm just curious; is there anything special about tumeric?....I mean aside from the yellowish color it gives food (like rice), does it give the food an appetizing taste or flavor like curry does?

I just want to know if I'm missing anything having not tried it before.( I'm really not good at trying new stuff, but I just want to know what makes tumeric tick)

No noticable taste as such because you can't use too much otherwise you won't like the concentrated feel.
I learnt it is medicinal and healthy just like the category of garlic and ginger. I mostly use it to season protein but today I was tired of white, jollof or fried rice so i opted for turmeric to change the look. It worked cos my children have eaten twice and begging for more, guess the colour did the magic.
