Good day guys. I just joined this platform. I got admitted to a University in New Jersey. So I have applied for a visa interview in Lagos but the closest date I could get was in November and my school resumes September 1. I have applied for an emergency interview for over a week now. The last time I sent them a mail they said that they are still processing it and time is running out. Is this how emergency interview applications take before they respond? Coz I don tire

If you can bribe officers to help you fast track your passport, I will advise you do that.

If you are in Abuja, there is an express center where you apply for your passport and you get it in a day or at most 3days.

Cancel ur existing appointment and reshedule to Abuja

I uploaded my i20( not signed anyway)

I uploaded my SEVIS fee payment confirmation

I uploaded additional 2 evidences that my original i20 is being shipped to Nigeria. One from my University and the other one from the the shipping company.

Then I gave a concised and convincing explanation.

What was the initial date you picked before applying for emergency appointment. If you had a date in august that is before your start date and you wish to expedite, it is less likely that it will be approved

Not true, I know someone that got August 18 and resumption is August 23, he was approved, so he had to pick a date in July.

It will no longer be showing if you have applied for it before and they haven't responded to your email except you cancel that appointment first. And if you do, you will have only one chance left to apply or pay again if the second chance is lost

They have responded . They asked me to request again and upload my i20 . But can’t find it on my portal . Do I just reply the email and upload the documents requested ?

You need to cancel it if it is lagos that you applied for emergency because they aren't responding again but if it is Abuja, you may want to wait for their response
