And Kenya government have denied involvement in the arrest.

Breaking news
KENYA GOVERNMENT

Nnamdi Kanu was
kidnapped
in Kenya, we didn't arrest
him
or handed him over to the
Nigerian government, we hear of the news after they
smuggled him off our
borderline, how they pass
our
border is still strange to us.
We are challenging the arrest
of a British citizen in our
country without our notice
to
International Criminal Court,
and the Nigeria government should tender a prove of
"documents" that the Kenya
government handed one
"Mazi Nnamdi Kanu" over to
them,we also wish for
Nigeria government to tell the world how they managed to leave our borderline without our notice.

Prior to this, 5 security men
working in our borderline
have been detained for an
illegalpermit, 3 have been
put off work. We don't want
the world to see Kenya as an
unsafe place for people of
all kind.

Kenya has legal rules, and
we
demonstrate and protect
them with full force.Nigerian government invasion into our land, pick someone and go is a call for war and threat to our peace. Nigeria should meet us in court Kenya Government denied volvement.

The arrest seems a big victory to this Hausa people and this government. Rubbish. Let them arrest those behind killer herdsmen, bandits and Boko Haram too and celebrate.

Malami spoke in Hausa to let his Northern brothers know that they were on top of the Biafran matter

Nnamdi Kanu's arrest only benefits the North

but he made his broadcast first in English before they requested that he made it in hausa, probably because they understand that most northerners which is their major target audience are more conversant with radio and TV for information unlike southerners who are more interested in social media..
Him speaking in English alone wouldn't change the hidden hatred southerners has for northerners and northerners have gotten the ideology too.
Now they also don't give a Bleep..
Its not about BBC hausa and its audience, but a public officer's ability to gauge the mood of a nation that is deeply divided along ethnic lines.
I insist that Malami out to have declined their request in the absence of an interpreter in Kanu's igbo language

Your British Passport Does Not Grant You Immunity. They will not send in British SAS Commandos to break you free from Nigeria.

For all my fellow "I am Britico" compatriots, If you break Nigerian Laws, here is what the British Government Can do for you.

UK manual on ‘Support for British nationals abroad: A guide’.

“We can offer you information about the local prison or remand system, including visiting arrangements, mail and censorship, privileges, work possibilities, and social and welfare services. We can also explain where there are different regulations for remand prisoners and sentenced prisoners. For example, in some countries, prisoners are allowed to send more mail when they are on remand.

We cannot get you out of prison or detention, nor can we get special treatment for you because you are British. If however you are not treated in line with internationally accepted standards we will consider approaching local authorities. This may include if your trial does not follow internationally recognized standards for a fair trial or is unreasonably delayed compared to local cases.

With your permission, we can consider taking up a complaint about ill-treatment, personal safety, or discrimination with the police or prison authorities.

Consular staff will keep in regular contact with you, either by visiting personally or by telephone/ letter. The frequency of visits will depend on local prison conditions and your personal circumstances.

If you are a dual British national in the country of your other nationality (for example, a dual Nigerian-British national in Nigeria), we would not normally offer you support or get involved in dealings between you and the authorities of that state. We may make an exception to this rule if, having looked at the circumstances of the case, we consider that you are vulnerable and we have humanitarian concerns.

We would not normally attend a court case involving a British national, and we cannot influence the outcome of any trial,” UK Home office guidelines.

I find your use of the term 'English slaves' very reprehensible and bigoted.

English IS our national lingua franca. It is not fair, but we have 250 LANGUAGES in this country...and English is the only fair compromise we have.

Next time, BBC Hausa and co should just use translators for their soundbites.
