The problem is not the church. It's you. Work on yourself and stop using church to cover face.

The Bible may not say husband and wife should attend the same Church but it's the same Bible that say that you and your husband are one flesh.

Some people will just carry church for head. Learn to blend yourself into Remeeded or divorce him because of denomination. The major Problem with Redeemed is the way they open church branches anywhere and just put some people that are not well rooted in the world of God there in the name of Let go fishing.

For 5years of marriage, it's been conflicting about this church matter.

Where in the Bible did they say it's compulsory for the wife to go to the husband's church? I attended dominion city, and he attends redeem (RCCG), I tried for the first two years to follow him to redeem, but I couldn't feel it, every Sunday it's like going and coming from a wedding not a church, that feeling of feeling the Holy Spirit and being blessed is not there, I don't know who understands this feeling.

I talked to him in d third year he allowed me go back to my dominion city, and in d fourth year he stopped me again, I'm a worker there o, now till the fifth year I'm still forced to attend redeem, I have tried my best to open my heart to the church but no way...

Their ways just tire me at redeem, I miss the love, togetherness, prayers, worship and preaching at dominion city. Please I'm sorry I mentioned the name of churches i know some people love redeem, so I'm sorry.

Now for a month now, I have not gone to any church, and I'm tired of the whole thing, please matured advice needed.

If you knew you won't leave your Dominion church for another Church after marriage then common sense should have told you that you should have married a member of your Dominion church or marry a pastor there, so that your life can be tied down there forever. You just want to cause unnecessary trouble in marriage and disturb the peace of that innocent unfortunate man that married you. What kind of nonsense is You are not feeling his church? People like you make me sick. So tomorrow if you are not feeling his house, you will pack to another man's house that you are feeling kwa? With this bad attitude of yours, na sure bet say your marriage will soon collapse if you don't change your ways. As a lifelong Pentecostal that has attended MFM, RCCG, Deeper Life, HOTR, Winners and the likes, my advice is that you free yourself from church indoctrination and focus on Christ and Godliness. It is not healthy to be attached to any church the way you have described. It would eventually put you at a disadvantage.

Anyways, I'm enjoying my Christian life after giving my life to Christ not up to 2 weeks.

RCCG not bad, don't be indoctrinated, I can easily warship God in any church. It does not matter to me. Now advise is, be open and with joy and follow your husband to his church. Since you know is not a cult or shrine.

Don't allow the devil to come in via that loophole.

I use to be a minister in RCCG but was brot up in Foursquare, after many years not actually finding the inner quest of worship with my creator at RCCG,
I had to return to my Foursquare Gospel Church & now I find peace, love and fellowship among my brethren

You knew he was attending a different church before you agreed to marry him. During your marriage counselling I'm sure this was one of the issues that bothered you but you went ahead. You guys are better together. If however there is no compromise from either of you then look for a new church that meets all your spiritual needs so you both can attend with the children.

I don't like couples attending different churches, it's shows dis unity and lack of submission.

Most of you getting married these days, just do it stupidly without discussing important things. How can husband and wife be attending different churches? Where is the unity in the marriage? Your dominion city, does your pastor and his wife attend different churches?

This kind of issue should have been resolved before marriage, I for one can't seem to pick a church to attend for the past two years now, the pretence is just too much. Church members worshipping pastor, the pastor and some elit (fire filled brothers) are above reproach.

You guys should sit down talk about it, if possible look for a middle ground, chose a church that is neither his nor yours and start fresh as a family.

It shouldn't be an issue actually. However, you need wisdom. What I would advise is, make use of online services for the church you are connected with. Join live programs from home till you and hubby sort it out. You can't be feeding on different tables serving different meal. Trust me I understand your feelings

I attend Dc also. I can't leave dominion city church. I think he should follow u to dc and see things for himself. Dominion city church changed my life but financially and spiritually.

You will one day return and start doctrinal challenge in your home. There is nothing wrong with your husband's church, note that I said this not because it is redeemed or any other churc, the problem is in you not wanting to leave your old life and people.
