Hello Mr just wise is it advisable for self employed to be paying himself monthly income salary from his company account? Because I saw one of your reply when you said that person should not paying himself salary?

If you are running one man business whatever you make after expenses is taken out is your profit. Paying yourself salary and to use it for visa application makes no sense.

Move your profit from the business to a savings account and present both accounts(business and savings account) for visa application

Hello house!!!

I'm about to book hotel using booking.com .. since I can’t make the payment with my Naira card due to the new policy.. Can I make hotel reservation without payment until arrival?

I hope it won't have any effect on my visa approval

A friend said hotel accommodation would have to be fully paid for prior to application.

Please advise

Good morning house. Please I have a friend who is a pastor here in Nigeria and just got a job in the UK as a minister of religion. He hope to get his certificate of sponsorship soon. Please what are the likely visa interview questions they will ask him. Please note : He has, been to the UK before as a Missionary on Tier 2 and was refused charity worker visa after he returned from the UK. Thank you.

Hi, Grace..
I would like to ask you some questions about this. Please accept my email request. Thank you.

It doesn't, if you claimed that you earned 700K through rent payment from your tenants you need to show evidence of that earning , tenancy agreement and one month rent is not an evidence

Hmmmm, I get you. It's not one month rent though, it's a year's rent and each tenant paid 350k. There are two tenants so that makes it 700k. They paid in August & October last year, so it can't show in a 6-7months bank statement. I have already submitted the application and been given appointment date.

You don't have to pay for the accommodation yet. Just take that into consideration when stating your budget

Please who is familiar with the Submit bank statement features of GT Bank. I want to make an application and I have account statements of over 160 pages and think that feature might be best suited. Can you just use the feature on your own or the embassy has to request it, because I know there is a ticket number and password that is required to be able to access the account. Please let me know. Thanks

this question has been answered several times . U asked and I have answered before... there is nothing like that.
Before you said agent told you, now it is your friend. Fear God.
I am guessing this is the tactic you want to use to draw unsuspecting members to be scammed otherwise why are u repeating same story of working visa permit that someone said they will get for u for Uk?
If there is no motive behind ur question, I will asnwer once more- there is nothin like that

if it is almost 1 year ago and you need to show the ECO or bring into cognizance this 700k as you keep bringing it up here, surely you can submit your bank statemnt from last year august till now to show origin of these funds.
It can show in a longer statemnt. As you are including this sum in your application as part of your annual earnings then pls back it up with paper evidence.

Hello giselle237,justwise and all other members with the vast knowledge.
I have read through most of the pages but I still need more clarifications. Allow me breakdown my situation. I run a very lucrative business and my earnings is not fixed so I followed a few points I picked here. I opened a business account and a salary account. I get to pay myself a stipulated amount every month as salary ( I have done that for more than a year now). I did that to save myself the stress of having to explain the bulk monies that goes in and out of my accounts. I withdraw 1/10 of this money which is 60k every month to show as my monthly expenditure leaving 540K since the beginning of last year ( I have a reasonable balance in the account I am presenting to the embassy)
My questions are:
1. I am presenting myself as an employee of my own company, I hope this doesn't matter?
2. My wife doesn't work but we are filling it as I give her 40K for monthly upkeep, which is also her monthly expenditure. Is this amount reasonable or questionable?
3. We filled that wifey has no financial dependent .do I need to put my son as her dependent too coz I already filled both of them as my dependent?
3. I have an infant of about 5 months old. I am filling his monthly expenditure as 5k. Is this also fine?
On the column that asks how much I am personally spending on my trip: I filled 2,150 for me , 1100 for wifey and 250 for my son. (3,500GBPin total)
how did I arrive at the amounts?
I assumed that since I am the primary applicant, cost of accommodation, sightseeing, and miscellaneous should be added to my cost.
Wifey's cost is just flight and feeding .
Son's cost is just flight ( ticket fare for infants are considerably lower than adults)

I have filled out the forms as I have stated. Please advise,I really do not want to make mistakes .

Ok then. But it isn't the main fund actually, it is a minority. My savings and yearly salary are the main funds and they are well shown in the bank statement. Thanks for the heads up.

sorry to digress. What is your travel history like as a family? and individually.
How did you arrive at 2150? Use minimum prices for hotels and flight tickets.

2. What are those things (food in particular) to be packed that ll not be seized when checking.

Good evening everyone.
Thanks to all the gurus in the house @giselle237 @justwise et al.
I've read this thread from the 1st page and it has indeed been enlightening, but I've got a little clarification.

Background: I'm a medical doctor and I recently got a US study visa. I've paid for my flight to US in September.
But I'd like to visit my boyfriend in UK next month just before I travel to US ( cos my class schedule is crazy and i dunno when next we can see). He's also a medical doctor. He would be the principal sponsor.

Question:
My salary is 250k monthly, but I've got a closing balance of about 280k for this month, because i had lots of expenses (paying for my flight ticket to US, US visa charges, paying off some personal loans, buying crypto via P2P).
I still live with my parents, so i have minimal monthly expenditure.
PS. My bf has sent all his documents to me: bank statement, BRP, utility bill, pay slips et al.
He stays alone, so my feeding, accomodation and transportation for sightseeing is sorted out. I have no intentions of shopping.
I also intend attaching a copy of my paid flight to US in September.

Please is there any other thing i need to be aware of , that i would explain to the ECO?
I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

Hello everyone,
Please is it possible to get an appointment for biometric at TLS, a day (or next business day) after submitting online application?
I want to know if I should wait to do my TB test first or just submit the application and book an appointment pending the TB test(I already have a date for it). I have quite a tight deadline to meet.
Thanks.

Closing balance of 280k ; the trip comes of as highly unnecessary now, in my opinion. I suggest you forget it for now, apply from US after some time. Neither u nor ur boyfriend is running away
