Please. In my E-legalization form for the Belgian Embassy. The part they wrote “Power of Attorney “. My question is, Is that section meant for me to fill or do I require a lawyer to fill it for me?

You leave it blank if you are not using a representative (agent)

Is a waec certificate sufficient to apply for a Bsc program in Belgium?

Yes. But you might need other documents like SAT,TOFL/IELTS etc depending on the school.

Also note that there are not many Bsc options in English in Belgium.
But check schools like:
KU Leuven
Odisee University College
Thomas More
VUB

(Check as many schools as possible)

Exactly. Immediately the embassy gets the documents, they will send you a mail listing all the documents and stating whether it is accepted and would be treated or not.
I called the Embassy today because I am expecting an additional document to be legalised. Is there any problem with the document, it is a week after submission today? Answer: What is the name and which document?
Name and document info given
Answer: No, no problem. We will process it.
But the last one we submitted was legalised within a week? Is there anything missing?
Answer: I will send it for approval very soon
Me: (Surprise!) Thank you.

Hello guys! I'm new here and I really appreciate the information so far.

Actually there's something l'd like to seek clarity on and i'm hoping you guys could help me out.

Pls, If I am using a sponsor that stays in UK for instance, do they have to physically come to Nigeria to submit the sponsorship form at the embassy even with the introduction of E-legalization?

Thank you in anticipation.

You can use it for the block account since it is going to the school accout. Did the school send you an invoice?
The German blocked account is in the student's name hence they will not do that.
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by famousguy01(m): 3:33pm On Jul 05, 2021
No, I was just sent the school account number and told to put block account + full name + course in the description box. I think I will have to differ the admission till next year because what I have now is just 3m I will still need about 2.4m more including school fee. Though the plan was that my Uncle in Us will sign as my guarantor/sponsor but he later let me down and it’s too late now

Thank you.
Have already followed the steps and posted it last week. But haven't gotten feedback from them. That's why am asking if someone had used that method recently, so I can know what's happening.

If you did everything exactly right, you will hear from them.

If you are still worried, you can call the embassy to find out if something is wrong

I have been mailed to show up for interview for my student visa to Belgium on the 7th of July in Abuja embassy. Anyone else invited same day?

I Submitted my application at vfs office Abuja on Wednesday and was invited for interview two days later. Going by what I've read on this thread I was expecting to be invited in at least four weeks time.

Bro how did the interview go?! What was the questions?! And did you get the visa?!

1. Please can anyone share any details about the questions they were asked during the interview? For Example, Did they ask about your flight details or for your statement of account.
2. I am using a blocked account, and on the visa application form I indicated that the school would be funding my stay, Is that the correct thing to do?

Thanks in advance.

They won't ask about flight details or any other proof of funds (since you are using blocked account)

2. You are supposed to indicate that the visa applicant is funding his/her stay (since you used blocked account). Also I hope you filled the online visa application form

Send an email to me, I'll tell you about the interview questions

They are still processing visa.. besides you don't need to book an appointment with them, just walk into VAC and submit your application. I think submission is every Mondays and Wednesdays

1. Please, how much is the home service fee?

2. How much is VFS application fee?

Hello nairalanders, pls does anyone know anything about getting admisson into a masters programme in belgium including visa processing and other related proceedings. Any info will appreciated. Thanks

If you’re planning to travel to Abuja to authenticate your documents at the Federal Ministry of Education and also at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, please sit down and recalculate

I can do that for you at a very fair and unbeatable price and return your documents safely to you (GIG Logistics).

The processes can be done on your behalf by a third party. I repeat: No need spending heavily on hotel accommodation, transportation fares, and feeding for SOMETHING THAT CAN BE DONE AND COMPLETED IN 24 HOURS.

Send me a PM let’s talk.

Premiercare:

Ministry of Education and Foreign Affairs = Authentication of result.
Belgium Embassy Abuja= Legalization
MoE- 300 per document
MFA- 500 (officially), 1k fast track
Belgium Embassy- 9.4k per document.
NB: only original documents or certified true copies. The embassy will not accept ordinary photocopies. Don't waste money authenticating photocopies.

Please do you know how much it costs to authenticate or legalize Birth certificate at MFA and how long it takes ?
