My Redmi note 8’s battery drains so fast and also the hotspot cuts short except I don’t allow the device sharing to sleep.
I will appreciate if someone can assist me on this.

How old is your phone?

Learn to always explore your phone it has been on MIUI from time immemorial irrespective of MIUI version

When you get to that battery chart take a screenshot then change ranking to details and share a screenshot too.

So I am expecting two screenshots

Your major problem is your network. The yellow bars shows that your network is unstable. And unstable network translate to battery drain.

And advise battery saver above 20% is a waste of time from my observations it even drains more battery when used for heavy task. So turn off battery saver.

Check your USB Cable. Or charging Port.

Both Cord & charger is ok, d tin is even if d phone goes off completely instead of it to start charging from 0% u will see like 45%, if i turn on d phone it will deplete very fast & sometimes it will restart again

She restarted the phone and since then the phone refused to come up , we've been going from one engineer to the other.

We even reached out to Xiaomi at Ikeja , they sai she should come in July ending. So I was wondering if anyone has similar issue or who can actually help.

We've tried all rebooting options to no avail.

Pls we'd gladly appreciate if anyone can help.

What did she do that warranted the restarting?

Hope she didn't try restarting when the phone was updating?
