1..The pancreas produces the hormone insulin and secretes it into the bloodstream, where it regulates the body's glucose or sugar level. So pancreas is your answer..

2..Agglutination is the clumping of particles. ... When people are given blood transfusions of the wrong blood group, the antibodies react with the incorrectly transfused blood group and as a result, the erythrocytes(RBC) clump up and stick together causing them to agglutinate. So using the ABO system we have A B AB and O.. Now anti A serum will clump with A and will not clump with anti B serum...
For B..no clumping in anti A serum and clumping occurs at anti B serum..
AB...clumping at anti A serum and clumping at anti B serum..
For O...no clumping at anti A serum likewise anti B serum...
Note this contrasting antibody clump as well as contrasting antigens...so I think A is your answer..
For the second question, your explanation was correct, but the option u chose was wrong.
Let's take a Type A individual for instance. Type A individuals, have Antigen A on their RBC and Antibody B in their plasma, hence there is no agglutination. This is because Antibody B only attacks Antigen B.
Hence, when an unknown blood sample reacts (agglutinates) with Anti-serum A, the blood contains Antigen A and it belongs to Group A.
Thus, when Antigen A combines with Antibody A, agglutination occurs.
We can now rightly say that agglutination occurs when similar Antigen (A) and Antibody (A) combine.

To those who think they scored low in UTME, the journey is not over yet. I repeat "The match is still very much in play".
Did you know only 800+ students scored 300 (0.06) lowest in the last 4. And I can bet that out of this 800, 350 are mathematics students(engineering aspirants), 150 commercial students, 100 arts and guess what just about 200+ for medicine and surgery in the whole country.

Even if you have 250+ Infact 240+, the game is still very much open for a comeback. I don't care what your score is if you can get 90+ or 360+ in post utme no matter the school whether state or federal, you will definitely be admitted.

And if you scored 280+ if you like be feeling like Messi and don't fire on all cylinders if Mr 240+ beats you with 10 marks guess what, he has just displaced you.

The failure rate for this year is high only 45% could score above 160 and above that means over half (700,000) of the 1.3 million are ineligible for university admission. If you give up na you fvck up.

I will leave you with this quote "if you think you can you are right. If you think you can't you are also right". Good evening

There are some scores that can't get you medicine no matter the failure rate, medical students that will score above 300 for a particular school will still pass 1000+ out the thousands of people that chose medicine bro, stop all these motivational quote about failure rate

You don't read, you just rush to talk. As I speak to you right now no federal school can boast of up to 30 medical aspirants that scored up to 300. As in total number of students with 300 and above is just 803! And in this 803 majority are engineering aspirants o. Even UNILAG or UNIBEN can not have up to 50 students with 300+ analyze it carefully.

How can you say a one single school will have 1000+ 300 and above? So JAMB is lying or deceiving candidates?

please I have spoken If you have 250+ and you can score 90+ or 360+ in your post utme. You will gain admission no matter the school.

Let me use UNIBEN as an example. If you applied for the school and you are from catchment and you scored 240 which is 30/50. And you pay the prize to score 90(it's not impossible someone scored 92 last year, he doesn't have 2 heads) your total aggregate will sit at 75%. You have a superb chance with this aggregate.

I'm not talking to people that see impossibilities I'm talking to fighters, to people that set no limit to what's possible. The message is not for everybody. You'll be surprised at how low scorers will get admission into MBBS with scores that you think are ridiculous. Good morning

Are you seriously asking this? Then you don't know the value of the discipline you chose.

I have physiotherapists as friends. The least they are earning currently is 120k per month for their housemanship. They will have way more once they start working fully.

I thought you are an indigene of either.... I can't start comparing, because both are MDCN ACCREDITED INSTITUTIONS which means both have what it takes to make you a competent doctor...so you have to decide on your own which one would be more feasible for you in terms of cut off mark and fees.

Esut school fees:124,900k per year
Hostel fees:40,000k

Okay let me quickly reply this boss.

1. I think EBSU is cheaper compared to ESUT but you can confirm on Google. As a non indigene in MBBS 100l, I paid 211k. It was 221 but the Governor reduced it by 10k.

2. Ebsu school calendar is fine. We started school in April and we will finish the whole 100l by october/Nov. By Nov, we should be in 200l. This rushing is due to coronavirus delay and the fact that the school needs money (as people say sha). Which brings me to my third answer

3. On strike. No strike yet since I have been in EBSU (just 4 months).

4. Teaching hospital. Normally, ebsu should be having the best teaching hospital in the whole Nigeria right now (might be exaggeration), but the governor converted the teaching hospital and campus he built for ebsu medical students into a new medical university upon completion despite the fact that the place was built with ebsu money. But note:

Our current teaching hospital is very okay. It's a federal teaching hospital called Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki (FETHA). We might have to starts sharing it with FUNAI medical students from this year (they are having first set of clinical students) but anyhow things goes, we have a good teaching hospital and the place is very nice. I have personally gone on tour of one of them (We have two: FETHA 1 and FETHA 2). I went to 2.

5. I don't have much to say here. Just like other Nigerian schools, ebsu has it's own share of good, bad, lenient, strict, greedy, touchy, attentive and honest staff.

Most of ebsu staff members I have encountered, including the lecturers are actually nice.

Sorry this is long, I have an OCD to not leave anything unmentioned. Lol.

Ok.

A fine jamb score say (300+) keeps you in a very fine stead.
The cut off which is usually not announced is arrived by dividing your utme score by 8 and post utme by 2 to get your aggregate score.

In recent times, cut off have ranged from 74-78.
Regular Books are just fine. In my time, I used Ababio and Lamlad for Chemistry, For Biology, I used Lamlad, Ramalingam and Exam focus, Physics I used Afolabi

While English was A-Z by Dele Ashade.
I added 'Dandy English' to the A-Z for post Utme.

For school fees, 80k acceptance fee then 73,400 for school fees.
In subsequent levels, the school fee is 45,400.
The calendar is a fair one too.
