I believe its not needed for student visa application. It is a requirement for tier 1 n 2 visas

It is not a requirement for student visa except your course requires it. For example, mine requires that I get it.

The person is right technically, University rank doesn't really matter. University rank for your chosen course matters more. This is more important than the University's rank.

Good evening everyone. I applied for a Tier 2 Visa and did Biometrics on the 23rd of June. Can anyone help me with the current timeline Visa is taking at the moment?
I was under the impression that Tier 2 Health and Care visa takes a shorter time than usual and this is already 10 working days.

University rank matters, if you studied a very good course in a rubbish university the ranking of that university will affect the value of your certificate

Yea it's after the 2-3 weeks. But v seen someone who got Cas immediately dey fulfilled the unconditional offer and paid deposit
