I am not a lawyer but It is a flawed ruling. How can the judge say she only became a Nigerian by virtue of the 1999 constitution? Nigeria didnt have constitution before 1999? People that were born outside Nigeria by Nigerian parents are not Nigerians before 1999? Nonsense!!! 1 Like |

HonNL:If i recall the issue was not so much about whether or not she required a certificate but that she presented a forged certificate. So whether a Judge says you need one is irrelevant. |

If you appeal that case Kemi would lose. A lot of loopholes in the judgement. Seems Malam malami who was sued as the AGF in the matter never attended the court procedings for once and didn't even present any form of legal defense. He was obviously busy trading bitcoins when he is not chasing after MNK. |
