Alliteration: Your experience is so heartbreaking sorry for what you passed through, one day they will surely meet their Waterloo Onitsha & Aba has Agbero challenge. Onitsha is worst You would have reported them regardless of what people told you. But you would have mentioned the name of the area where the park is located so that others can take precautions. 5 Likes |

I did experienced same thing January this year at down flyover at Chisco park, I was travelling to Nassarawa State, a keke driver took me there that was my first time going through that route to North central. I got to the park the agbero said that from there to Lafia is # 5500, I paid I enter the sienna only to discovered that passengers going to Bayelsa, Cross river, Benue, owerri were in this the same car with me, I asked every one of their destination, It was damn on me that I done entered one chance, most of the passengers were women with children's, old women, they had been waiting over 3 hours the car refused to full, we were only two males in the car, I told the guy that we need to collect our money back from the agberos the guy said he was afraid that they could beat us up, I summed courage I confronted the agberos, he said if I make noise they will beat me up I laughed, there I knew what going on, three boys from nowhere came to fight me, I look around I saw a log of wood I took it , I held in my hand I told them I will fight them will my last blood, I told dem na warri I from come oh, if na fight una want I go give una double! when they saw I wasn't afraid they gave #4000 say make I carry my wahala dey go! I ran without look at them oh, I pitied the other passengers that day. I find my way to Nyaya parks, where I took a bus to markudi that day. It was a terrifying experience. All roads" I know them. Their ticket doesn't have destination. They have been doing that thing since time immemorial. They operate at down flyover at Chisco park opposite the old faith park that ANSG cleared. They are always fight ready. Their target is non Indigenes. Mr OP sorry for your experience. This is why we need Biafra. Police is part of them. They operate opposite police Checkpoints. Their other stands are opposite side of the flyover facing Main market road, another towards ITC Park and another again before city park as you are about to detour obodo ukwu Road. Everybody knows them. They are protected by the Police. They can beat you up if you enter their trap. Once you enter, it is either you wait for many hours for them to get more victims or you forfeit your money. Their targets are those going to Lagos, Benin, Osun, Ekiti, Owerri, Portharcourt and Delta. For some reasons they avoid Aba. They charge times 3 of the normal fare, charge for any load even hand bag and lavish insults on the complainants. They carry even those that are not going to their destination and drop them at junctions where they colleagues are and balance the victim any amount they like. If the victim complains their colleagues at that location will beat hell into that person. For example they can carry someone going to Warri in Lagos destined bus and drop that person before Agbor Junction where their men are. They have syndicates that occupy the bus when you come, making it look like it is a normal bus. Once again, sorry for your experience [/quote] 8 Likes |

These people have been doing these things for a very long time. I had same experience when I was serving in 2012. They will pick your pocket and rob you of your money. This is not tribal hatred, you need to rid your community of criminals. The fact that nobody is saying anything means the leaders of the community are in support of these abnormalities. They can't deny that they are not aware, its the bitter truth! You people want Biafra, I just they laugh. Onitsha is a criminals den. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Had a terrible experience at Emeka Offor Plaza. I went there to get a phone only to end up at the shop of a supposed software engineer because I was with my other device that had issues. He said he was going to scan a dead device to see the problem and then someone good at hardware would fix it based on his recommendations. He nonchalantly told me that it was just #15 per scan so I asked him how many things he was going to scan which he ignored. Before I knew it they were more than 10 guys, at the end of the day he brought out one rubbish from his system claiming he scanned about 700 information that my bill was #10,500. That was where the harassment started. I ended up paying #6,500. Even before I left there, I knew it was a fucking scam. I was just at a loss how someone would rent a shop at a plaza just to be carrying out that kind of rubbish scam. 17 Likes 1 Share |

You see these 3 cities: Onitsha, Aba and Port-Harcourt, they will make you hate to be a Nigerian more. Whenever I'm in any of them for business, my carefulness level is at the highest. Luckily for me, I have never been in a messy situation all my times there, but what I see or hear them do to others are memories I don't wish to have 10 Likes 1 Share |

That place was where cars are snatched at daily basis opposite the police station there before UGM sacked the police station. They are everywhere in the East. Go to Aba, you will see them there too. The first step to conquer them is to go from English to Igbo (or any local language) in seconds. As in, change it so fast they will be shocked. If you do ajebo for them, they will bully you into the bus. They capitalize on your fear and naiveness. Show no fear o. Many times when I found myself in their midst, I flip on them and the first thing they always say is “so you know how to speak Igbo and you are doing ajebo since”. Very nonsense people. I pushed one that was trying to harass me. He didn’t even see it coming. He was lucky I wasn’t with any object, I no mind to chook am for eye as e take vex me that day. 14 Likes 1 Share |

shosky1794: My point is that there are touts everywhere in the major cities of Nigeria, and their mode of operations are the same. SEDI boss was assassinated in Enugu few days ago, but does it mean that such doesn't happen in other cities? I am certain if it had happened in Onitsha, you would have been everywhere spewing your hate and bitterness. Stop being petty due to hidden hatred.
