Only time i have seen this was back in abj when i gave a group of almajiri boys numbering about 15 some money. They bought food and shared like this. They would pass the one plate around till it got to the last kid... I had PTSD from watching those kids. OP if u grow up like this mhenn. I pray God erases the memory completely from ur mind

My dad used to share food for me and my sister like that when we were very young, but it was just jara though (he used to give us his remaining food as a matter of routine) cool

Back then at Abosso Apostolic Church Ani Ahaba at Cable Point Asaba, Circa 90 We would be paired 5 on a tray pan. Jollof rice cooked with ram and its stock.

We don't do it in our house even though we were not rich but I did it even at so many birthdays and functions back then. Then at birthday parties, a big mould of white rice and chicken will be spread on the biggest tray pan. Boys/girls will gather and one brother or sister will monitor the eating.

One of the moments that I will cherish for ever.

i can relate very well. but we thank God for life. i told my girl that i have hawked sachet water in traffic b4 but she nor believe me until my sister confirm the story. we keep pressing, pushing and praying maybe one day, our story will help someone
