Is this the type of system you'd advocate for Biafra where injustice are allowed to thrive.

As a fellow Biafran, I'm disappointed in your statement!

I feel so sorry for her.

What a messy and unfortunate situation she's entangled in.
May God forgive and have mercy on her and be with her every step of the way, and may Ataga's soul find peace.

Mercy? Peace? What about the most important? Justice!! You "feel so sorry for her". What about the murdered man? His relatives? Do you feel sorry for them too? I don't blame you. You are but a woman. Simple in mind and in power of judgement.

Evidences say as much. And forensic scientists will agree with the jury if scientifical investigation is employed

Which evidences? are you cooking up your own evidence in your bedroom? or the version of the videos we all watched are different from yours? The discussion is on what is available in the public domain and not what you think or feel. feeling or thinking cant be used as an evidence in any competent court of jurisdiction.

Only one scientific investigation on the cloth they retrieved from her abode will nail her, the Man's DNA is imprinted on that shirt of hers.

They can simply test the DNA on the shirt she wore that day to see if it matches the late Michael Ataga. When the reality of life imprisonment or possibly death penalty sinks in, it is no surprise she recanted.

Why her story doesn't add up is why the supposed murderer on the loose that killed Michael Ataga, left the ID,phone, bank documents and bank card for Chidinma Ojukwu to use as she pleases. That is the major hole in her latest cock and bull story.
Professional assassins don't take spoils

By remembering the PIN number of the ATM card and having the cognitive ability to steal his I.D,phone, bank documents shows she was not impaired.

She wasnt impaired
Since she went out to get food as recounted by her.
She cannot claim being under thr influence of drugs

Nigeria is a corrupt country

The legal system stinks of fraud. This girl publicly admitted that she killed that guy. Now, the girl lawyer want to create another scenario so that they will free a murderer and protect the dead man's image.

Our justice system is very corrupt, how can you make 2 different statements all in 1 month.

I hate this country, anyone can commit a crime and go free, no justice at all and i am sure people will support her to be freed, this are the same youth that want justice for endsar victims...God will punish all of you for supporting a criminal and helping to create a lawless society.

The fact that someone confessed to a crime does not.mean he or she actually commited the crime. And someone confessing to a crime is not enough for the court to pass judgement. In both instances the investigation officer and the prosecution team must prove beyond reasonable doubt to confirm and support the confession. There have been many instances where people confessed to crimes they never commited because of fear and intimidation by the investigation officer.

The girl could not have single handedly tied the man up.

She either did not commit the murder or had accomplices.

I bet she walks free as police have already contaminated the crime scene and damaged the case.

The only valid way shes getting out of this is holding on to the fact she was on drugs when she did it

That's the simplest way to get reduced conviction but the lawyer will want to play smart that she wasn't on the scene of the crime when it happened and not knowing the said lady has several version of the incident to her credit. If they go with she is innocent bullshit she will surely get the death penalty.

I Didn’t Kill Usifo Ataga- Chidinma Denies Killing Super TV CEO

The suspected killer of Usifo Ataga, Chidinma Ojukwu has denied killing the late CEO. Recall that when Chidinma was arrested by Policemen initially, she confessed to killing the CEO. However, in a new interview with Crime Fighters, Chidinma explained that she didn’t kill Ataga. This new interview has come as a shock to many Nigerians, owing to the fact that the suspect actually confessed to stabbing the deceased multiple times in her first confession.

Read what she said in her new interview below,

“I went to withdraw money from the ATM and when I was leaving, he locked the door after me. When I came back, I noticed that the door wasn’t locked and the duvet was on the floor. The couch was facing the door and the bed was stained with blood already. The floor was bloody and the TV was on. The room was disarranged like someone broke into it. I was afraid that if I raised an alarm, I would be arrested for the crime. I packed my things and left the room. I took the bag that contained his ID card and bank statements. I took his phone and later I withdrew more money from his atm. He already told me that he was going to give me the money. There was no 5 million naira in my account. I don’t have anything to do with his death.  I know someone did it, but I don’t know who the person is. I don’t know what happened when I went to buy the food. I did not kill him. I believe someone knew where we were and waited for me to leave to do what they did. I decided to take the blame initially because I was scared. No one is influencing my statement.”

She could have even maintained that she ran off but how is scared little madam able to pack the guy's bank statements and other doc plus withdraw more money? Her lawyer is wicked,he is practicaly setting her up for the maximum sentence. Instead of him to workaround her earlier truth and argue some defence towards lesser sentence. Now everyone is going to labelling her a killer plus liar! What a deceptive beautiful biatch! Whew!
The initial self defence against his advances when he got violent was a better argument before a judge. This one she is blaming IPOB unknown gunmen (UGM) will get her a maximum sentence.

My dear honourable colleague, haven't you seen or had experience of staggering your way home after a pint or two of booze?
Scientifically, they say the brain stops or have a slow way of forming memories after being intoxicated. So the lady in question might not have full memory of the incident so she succumbed to the initial pressure.
I still blame the drugs the man fed her for it
omo so now u admitted she killed him but blame it on the drug they both took this ur arguerment na like indian telenovela

If you're not in the legal system, you would not understand. I saw this coming. If I was her counsel, I will say same.
She can actually walk away acquitted of murder. Just some simple casting wai fit bluff her up. If it can be proven by her defense that she wasn't the person who ordered those drugs.... She can actually claim she was intoxicated forcefully by the deceased and acted under influence of drugs. She can claim she was not in the right frame of mind.
Withdrawing money from the CEOs ATM might be the only crime she might be charged for. But even that, she can also claim she was granted access by the deceased to withdraw from his ATM. The most difficult cases to prove in Court are murder cases. Cos two elements must be fulfilled to constitute murder.
1. mens rea: intention to commit crime
2.actus reus: act of commiting the crime

Chidinma knows about the death of Ataga, either she killed him on her own or with someone else, the murder was planned from the beginning. She contacted the person in charge of the short let apartment with a phone line she thought will not be traced to her, this shows that their was a sinister motive. This recant is an after thought and a script given to her by her defence. Your man was murdered and you have the liver to still steal from him. Lies here

Her family has hired a crooked lawyer for her. The police celebrated the confession too early and put too much information in the public space. Now, she will try to use the information to her defense. The initial confession will be thrown out in court easily once she pleads not guilty.

Now, the police have to do extra investigative work which will include forensics if they intend to get her convicted. This her new story still doesn’t add up so they have the upper hand against her. She stole his money after his death so that’s enough motive. With good forensic evidence from the crime scene, she’s toast.
who say so? What happens to the numerous withdrawal days after the man's death? Why book the hotel with fake ID, who owns the soaked clothes that was seen in her house? Why not report his death to police on time? Why did she change her clothes and ran way from the hotel?

Did he do all those things with her without contact?

As for the ATM, it is still under the influence of drugs because she said she withdrew 300k while statement is showing 5 million proving that she wasn't herself during that confession
under the influence of the drug the man gave her after how many days of the incidence?
