You'll never know what it means to sleep in peace, until you encounter these loan sharks...

Things are hard, YES! BUT by all means, avoid loan sharks. ALL of them!

Instead, borrow from friends and family. It's better to swallow your ego, than to allow these sharks to dent your reputation to all your contacts.

The damage is always irreversible. I believe that a good name is STILL better than money.

Any interest accrued on your repayment will be written off if and only you pay into their account before the due date or before the date your overdue interest is activated..

Sometimes, you may initiate payment on their app and they won't receive it but your bank would have already debited your account. In such case, you have to fill a refund at your bank and they will refund you ( but that won't stop the interest from accumulating) because the money didn't enter the company's account.

Also, when u made offline payment, make sure you send a proof of payment to their agents (although, if you send it to someone who is not in charge of your file at that time, he won't be able to help you treat it, except you will supply your details which may include your BVN to so he can help you fill it for reconciliation)

App repayment usually have issue if you initiate payment more than what you have I. Your account or when there is network issue from your bank or most atimes from paystark.

But nothing that comes up after disbursement of the loan from all this loan app that is not contained in the term of agreement which you "click agreed when you processed the loan without reading..

It's there that the company would go to any length legally to get back their money, including fees incurred on legal fee and or contracting the loan collection to a third party...

The above is based on Palmcredit all the sister apps including Easybuy (phone loan)

Bank also charge interest for defaulting Just that they may not charge as high as loan app

I hope this helps

I haven't used them before, I can only talk about Branch... Those guys operating Branch have human sympathy... If you default, they will never message your contacts, but they will send you text once in a while to remind you of your loan. They won't add any additional interest too.

Fairmoney does the same, I still wouldn't advice someone to go borrowing, but if you must Fairmoney. Those guys are humans.

I am not satisfied with the way this company operate.

Who has experience such?

I took a loan of 11,000 to repay in a week time with interest on 21/06/2021 as due date. I tried repaying on the app even before the due date but it wasn't successful. The app is stagnant and give pending note. All efforts to reach their customer care was abortive. Still yet default charges keep increasing.

After few days a collection officer of the company with this number (+234 701 743 3849) started sending me threat messages to pay up. I explained to him what I have been experiencing. I paid the loan amount and initial interest rate by bank transfer. I sent him proof of payment and was cleared not default charges remained.

He said I still have to pay for default. I said I can not pay for default because the fault is not mine as their app was not accepting payment. That they should fix their app. The following day I paid using fist monie pos and sent him proof of payment. He said it will be cleared. Up till now it has not been cleared. Default charges keep accumulating after 2 weeks of payment.

Only to remind him to clear the default payment this morning and he blocked me on whatsApp. I called him on regular call and he said the company is not his father's company and that do I want him to block me again on call.

This is not fair at all. I feel cheated.

.... A woman once lost her pregnancy and marriage when a loan shark in Nigeria here sent messages to all her contacts including her inlaws calling her a thief on the run..... Her default was for only a few days!

I really dealt with them
Modified: After disgracing me to my contacts after payment,I went on a borrowing spree on all loan apps and refused to pay. Now my number has been blacklisted from borrowing from any app. Each time they call me I refer them to the contacts they messaged for payment, sometimes I purposely pick and put the phone under tv when I know it's sokoloan agent,9jcash,lcredit,lotus credit etc I dealt with all of them.
You didnt deal with anybody, you are a thief and one way or other, you will pay that Monet back.

yeah, you're right. One thing I like about them is that you can pay some amount and extend your loan duration.

One of the best app to borrow loan from Is quickteller app.

They don't call contact uour phone unnecessarily that you owe them and if you can't pay your loan before the said time they add additional charges for about 4 to 5 days after which it won't add up anymore until you are able to pay your loan.

But they would keep sending your a reminder every morning about your outstanding loan.

The best loan app so far.

At the point of processing the loan, they have already downloaded your contacts.
This is not correct. It is only made accessible. It's not automatic synchronization.
I can recall vividly that when I had that issues with them, whenever I wanted to open the app, the first thing that pops us is that I should enable so so so permissions to gain access to the app. If they had all the detailed they needed, they will not start popping that up. They only do it in a way that when they need it, they will have access to it.

What if I kill the Agbaro first? I am not saying nobody can kill me o. But, it's not as easy as you are saying it. Nobody wants to kill and go to jail. It is not a matter of meeting me anywhere and any time and just shooting me. It has to be discreet now.

Just make sure you go to your app setting and disable all the permissions you granted the app at the point of registration, they will not have access into your contact list etc.

Also block your ATM card, request for a new one ASAP!

Swears! Problem is desperation is what drove many people to them. They are really mad. I'm trying to extricate myself from them patapata.

There's one I took from, when it was repayment time I was debited twice. I told their customer agent, she said it's not their problem that I should go to my bank.
My bank confirmed the double deduction and directed me to the loan company's bank. I got there and was told that the account is dedicated to me and though the money went there 2ce, the account is empty as the money has been remitted to the larger parent account.

I called their customer care again, they told me to get lost. What will I do? Me wey no get money just let my 14k go to waste?
I took another loan from them, cleared my bank account and I'm waiting for them to call me to ask me to pay for the new loan. They will see crazy.

1. go to the loan app settings and disable all permissions previously allowed immediately.
2. delete the loan app immediately.
3. Block your ATM card immediately
4. Request for a new ATM card.

Forget their threats, it holds nothing!
