Ain't ya'll noticed the clauses there?

Who controls the NCC and the Senate?

Without NCC and Senate's approval INEC can't use electronic transmission.

Same way the House of Reps are putting up clauses that'll make application still subject to political influence...

We still have a long way to go with the Bill... That's what Nigerians need to know.
That means,, we will never rest.
The Fight/Struggle Continues.

Do you think this is a victory? With what is happening in the country, how do you suppose an NCC working under this government will give clearance for the transmission of election results?

Penguin2:
Sane Nigerians, let’s commend ourselves for this back to back victory.

Our two major projects have been achieved.

First was to make sure Lauretta ‘Palmwine drinker’ Onochie does not get cleared as INEC commissioner, we achieved it.

Second was to ensure that the Senate accept Electronic transfer of results to sanitize our electoral process, and we achieved it.

No street demonstrations, just social media bombardments.

Thank you sane Nigerians!

Because left for zombies, they will be hailing their darling daddy even if this country is set ablaze. Very stupid set of idiots they are.

Does this require electronic transmission as the only means of transmission, or allows it as a means of transmission? If it’s not the only means of transmission, we’re back to square one where the presiding officer or whoever transmits the result to claim the machine isn’t working or they’re unable to correctly operate it, then go back to business as usual especially when they’ve been “rogered”
YOU HAVE A POINT THERE.!!

..
That was how a lot of Polling-units were cancelled in the south, and the reason for cancellation was that the SCR didn't work.
..
Yet, they bypassed the use of the SCR in the North, and allowed manual Accreditation in the whole of the North.
..
They must look into it and make it the ONLY means of transmission.

There is still a caveat of NCC confirming that there is nationwide coverage and senate approving....There ar going round in circles and it will still ultimately end up on their desk and as to whether they'd approve or not, your guess is as good as mine. These guys are just playing with the public's intelligence. Ultimately, there won't be electronic transmission.
You mean, they will approve it for some areas, and then, they would refuse to approve it for some other areas abii.??
..
In that case, “We” will still get to that part later.
But for now, let us get the foundation right first.
Let us get them to start thinking properly first.

The south always fool themselves, you think electronics transmission of results will increase your voters straight? People that don't vote ? How many has voter's card? For those rejoicing as victory against north, you know nothing about politics and voting process. Great news for Nigeria. Thank you PMB.
Let me answer your question.
..
It will not increase the vote. No. Not At-all.
..
But it will reduce the involvement of the INEC-staff who do the manipulations.
..
And it will also reduce the time that the unannounced results would be hanging around. Thus, a highly reduced time that is available for the manipulators.

Much better for now

Before, millions exchanged hands at the collation centres by less than 10 persons, now the millions will be spent at the polling units where thousands are waiting

My only concern is that, I hope the parasite infected NA will not approve for South and disapprove for North claiming insecurity and no network coverage

Before INEC can transmit electronically, NCC must adjudge national coverage is adequate and secure, and National Assembly must approve. You guys should read this part again

That had been our fight.
You can imagine that in the last election, policemen were arresting people that were sharing money to the voters.
But they didn't arrest the hardened criminals that called themselves INEC-Staff at the Collation-Centres.

What is the essence of our Electoral Commission being Independent again if they have to need an approval from the Senate to transmit election results by whatever medium they deem fit.

This is silly. No arm of government should be allowed to immerse and involve itself in the electoral activities of INEC.
INEC should be independent please!
My Brother..
You're Correct.
..
That's the struggle.
And we will never rest until we get there.
..
SCR-Screening should be the ONLY means/method of accreditation.
And Electronic-Transmssion should be the only means/method of transmission.

..
NO OPTIONS.!!

It is Democracy when the people have a say in the decision of the processes of Government that best suits them.
It is the Government's responsibility to make sure that the processes of Government that were chosen by the majority of the people are favourable to everyone. - Both the majority and minority.

Oga,when you say a lot of votes where cancelled in the south and approved in the north or that scr was used in the south and dumped in the north,it makes you look partisan and biased thereby rubbishing the cause you are projecting.card readers are hardly used in the rural areas whether south or not.all politicians all over Nigeria do the same thing.if you analyse northern votes, you will see a lot of cancellations in places like nasarawa, kaduna, kano, sokoto, taraba, kogi.the major place where votes where cancelled in the south in 2019 polls was rivers state.the media is biased against the north

I read a report on the 2019 General Elections. Inside the report, it showed the pattern of how the SCR worked.

If majority of the nass are against a particular thing,it simply means that the people are against it.before inec carries out a plan,it must make sure that majority of nigerians are ready and prepared.let inec continue test running the electronic transmission in all this scattered polls so as to come to a conclusion before 2023. Inec has to work with telecoms agencies and ncc to make the plan work first
