Floods in developed countries happen once in a while as a result of serious climate change. But lagos own happens yearly once there is rainy season, as a result of poor city planning and so many stupid man-made mistakes and negligence.

Rent in the Estate where i live is comparable to Lekki, but with much better value , more spacious rooms, Living rooms and kitchens. Water doesn’t smell and taste rusty like it’s flowing through pipes rusted by salt water. Wide drainages flowing straight into the surrounding moat. Not a pool of water on any street.

I know. The fear of radiation catch my body watching that.

But ironically nuclear is still one of the cleanest and safest from of power.
And newer generation designs for nuclear power plants makes anything close to the Chernobyl disaster practically impossible. However I will never trust my country men to handle this kind of thing.

Cars could not through that route so we had to turn back towards oba akinjobi way and I passed through old Secretariat road. That traffic and flood was mad
