Igbo men dominate in Bank CEO than Yoruba men

Ebenezer Onyeagwu is Managing Director/CEO at Zenith Bank PLC.

Kennedy Uzoka is the General Managing Director/ CEO of UBA

Herbert Onyewumbu Wigwe is Managing Director/CEO of Access bank

Emeka Okonkwo Union bank CEO

Mr. Innocent C. Ike CEO Polaris bank

Lool. See liar. This is how igbos lie. Out of 20 banks, you listed four bank CEOs and say igbo men are dominating. Tears. Yorubas dominate banking sector. Keep crying.

The truth is, Yoruba women are more industrious than their men. If you want peace of mind as an upcoming young man, date a Yoruba lady, not all but most Yoruba ladies work harder than their men.

Miriam Chidiebele Olusanya.

An full blooded Igbo woman who married a yoruba muslim and divorced him when he started misbehaving.
She has a most beautiful name, Maryam ( sometimes misspelled as miriam) - why cancelling and substituting with chidi something, abi na shitting something.

Women are more frugal and honest than men in managing financial resources. May Almighty God bless and help our women now taking over the leadership of the banking sector.

This is not a tribal post.

It's glaring the list is dominated by the South West who for a long time has valued education.

It however might not be this way 10, 15 years from now due to the now general acceptance of education in the whole of the South.

For the North, they are simply on their own.
As you are simply on your own

The table is turning. Oh! What a time to be alive. May we all witness a female GCFR in this country IJN.

Soon we'd be hearing statements like; "Your Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mrs. ........................

And that day my heart would be gladden with great joy. And I'd leap and thank the Lord for he has delivered us from our oppressors. It's going to be the beginning of a new dawn. May God keep us all alive to witness it IJN.

The other day I saw a picture of a quiz competition and when I looked closely, I discovered that majority if not, all the contestants were FEMALES. Oh! My heart leaped for joy.
And I shouted:
"When the Lord brought back the captive ones of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter And our tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us; We are glad".

Dear nairalanders, don't try to quote me because you all would never understand my pains. There were times I wished I was a male due to the ill-treatment I received from the opposite sex. My heart gladdens whenever I see or hear great things from my gender. For years back, we were the rejected stones. We were written off. I remember when female education was meaningless to the African people. But today the Lord has changed our story.

I think that's a terrible idea.

Not because she's Igbo, but because she was part of Jonathan's profligate era.

I suspect strongly she was an American mole/puppet.

Read "The Economic Hitman" to understand better.

I'll gladly vote for any capable Igbo hand as president of Nigeria but definitely and absolutely not this woman.

what sort of drivel are you yapping about, the woman that got us out of the debt trap that our Fulani military heads of state plunged us into and I daresay another Fulani olodo has once again returned us to.....na dis same woman you dey call names? be careful how you accuse people o! That the world is run by western powers does not mean everyone that works in their establishment is part of their grand plans.

Respect to our baby girls.....
I just want to see more baby girls in top positions...
They are sweet in position...most of them are so compassionate

But some can be brutal and strict because of the fear of insecurity...thinking if they are not up and doing they might get the heave ho...sack and criticism

But wait o....most of them nor even get thier first degree for anything related to banking and finance abi business.....so how come them reach banking top positions....this life nor really balance

GTbank is not a Nigerian owned bank by any yoruba pls.
GT Bank is a subsidiary of GTBank UK.
Yeah, you heard it right.

It's here that I learnt its from UK. Was shocking to me too. Let me look for that guy that debunked the banking history of Nigeria here. It was a crazy roller coaster and like 20 people against that guy and he beat them with facts and figures. Research is good. please can you post screenshot of Nigerian banks and their owners for us.( let me look for some of the posts by that guy)
