Pls guys amight in a serious place now..I bought gtmedia sat finder the bt03 and the thing park up today exactly two weeks...I need a fairly use to use for now at cheaper price at least to recoup my money till i can get a better one ..pls respouse asap

You can only reload the software when you can make this device read from usb/flash … once that mytv logo shows and reboot it is bricked. I have heard similar issue on same 497s I tried marking it boot from usb to no avail so i had to send it back to strong and it was fixed within a month

Reloading OS on 497s is a bit technical as it involves unscrewing the decoder, a PC and an rs232 cable. So if u still have warranty I advise you claim it and let them fix it.

On my end nicomsat is off but sat view is on, on the same 42e but freezing in between
