"The Governor shall not during the period when he holds office, hold another Executive Office, or paid employment in any capacity whatsoever."

That's not even the P, the fact that both lower Courts refused to bring it under pre-election,that's is the issue.

True but the proper place to litigate such matters is at the high court without being told repeatedly.we argued on similar issues during the bayelsa guber case.again,the appeal court rightly held that the non joinder of buni was fatal to its success....

Jegede only knows what he wants to achieve in his petition.As from the begining at the tribunal he did not challenge the conduct if the election or the result of the election but only challenged the candidacy of Akeredolu.Is that his business? Has that not been status barred? He lost at the tribunal and the appeal court .He will lose again at the SC.I expect that judgement will be given same day of oral presentation because of the frivolity of the case.

Diri subscribed himself to S.87(10) of the Electoral Act.

But this matter is not under the Electoral Act but under the Constitution. Only an APC member could have taken it to Court, like Hillard Eta did.

Non-Joinder is the only way out.....Tanko chairs this, Aketi wins.

INEC & APC are still filing cross-appeals at the SC to circumscribe its case as pre-election. If it was frivolous, will they?

The only case, APC can arm itself with is Non-Joinder, and defend it with their FULL CHESTS.

Aketi shouldn't sleep oooo, what you are advising was how Ihedioha did his, and he landed as SC-removed Gov.

If a whopping five issues were resolved in favor of Jegede and the 6th partially allowed, why didn’t the Appeal Court declare him governor?

Then about Akeredolu, remember he has led the southern governors to a somewhat kind of revolution that I’m not sure is sitting well with the Fulani vultures in power.

Now, I doubt APC would be willing to help Akeredolu through high places(if such is possible sha). They would rather favour the emergence of Jegede just to deny the southern governors of a leader who is fearless and would hold them together like a glue as Akeredolu has done so far.

. What is the business of Jegede with APC primary? Is he a party to the primary? You need Issues resolved in his favour are weak to overturn Akeredoku s victory.That is the submission of the AC on this matter. In my opinion it can't go in Ihedioha's way.

I agree with you but whatever be the case,I dont see aketi being removed.if it was a proper court,I would have been bothered.the appeal court justices did justice to the case.jegede made a mistake.even though Buni is governor with immunity,that immunity stops at prosecution and does not extend to electoral cases.
