Abi we did not apply well ni? lol

My Big Mummy just annoyed me today sef. She said maybe I did not consult the Holy Spirit on this German matter before applying. Sometimes, these people can be insensitive, like I am the only one in this situation.

The death toll in Germany after the flood is just sad. About a thousand people are still missing, some people here should be thankful there aren’t in Germany yet cos you never can tell. Anyways good morning guys, more appointment dates I pray.

They were really stunned by that flood. Hope they recover soon. And yes, more dates we hope, amen!

Good morning. Please I wanted to book an appointment and I am only seeing only two options.
1. Certification of school documents for the purpose of applying to a German university
2. Opening of a block account with a German bank
I can't see anything like booking for student visa
Please help me clarify

You're probably not checking well.

https://service2.diplo.de/rktermin/extern/choose_realmList.do?locationCode=lago&request_locale=en

That is the link.

There are two sections on that page: 'Visa' at the top, 'Legal and Consular Affairs' at the bottom.

When you click 'continue' under visa you will see various sections for various visa types

Hahahahaha!
Or they'll tell you "may be it's not the will of God for you to travel out of Nigeria",as if they were there when God gave you your vision or they were the ones that put that career passion burning in you.
The truth is-there are so much limiting factors that might not allow you to achieve your dream in Nigeria.
I don't even listen to them.

Hi,
Please did you apply for category A or B?

I ask because I applied for category B on 5th April and my start date for program is October 1st.

I am yet to hear from them.

Should I cancel and re-apply for appointment date?

TonyySS:

let me drop this. It was my first time applying.
AL 14 april
Applied for AD 02.05.2021
Got AD 07.05.2021
Had my interview 04.06.2021
AM 28.06.2021
Visum 09.07.2021
Cat B.

Interview question

course, school name, bsc thesis topic, what I know about Germany; economy, geo and politics, If I have visited germany or schengen area, If I have been to that embassy before, if I have family in Germany or friends, why the course, what will I do after studies, what I know about my university city,
my course language of instruction, why germany and not Nigeria or any english speaking country?

Interviewed by a Nigerian Guy. He was very nice and calmed my nervousness.

Goodluck to all of u guyz seeking for AD and those who have already/expecting their visum.

Dem don comot the ‘fast tract’ appointment post. Good grin

Anyway, I think some people here should be somewhat grateful they aren’t in Germany yet.

Just recently, about 1300 were pronounced missing due to the flood affecting some parts of Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Netherland. A lot of volunteering is going on as we speak. You can check more of this on DW news, I think anyone thinking of traveling to Germany should be conversant with their news platform.

Also, because of this delay in appointment dates, some people don backslide and think say Chineke no dey again. You prayers were answered, nothing do you. When it’s your time it’s your time. Try other places though I know most admission application in Europe are closing this month. Keep your head high.

If one way no work, try another, do research. Get a book and write out your plans, have options. I am saying this because I know how easy it is to fall into depression when your expectations are not yet on your laps or isn’t coming.

Stay strong Patriots!!!!

Nigerians dey dazzle the world, dem go hear your name to, just keep at it.

Congratulations....

Honestly, I wonder what the problem is with the appointment date issues in Nigeria. Could it be the country, could it be the people or what exactly is the problem Like some of us really look forward to this opportunity (not just because their economy is good) but because of their academic standard and the free education. I mean, I tried applying to other countries that offer my degree program but the tuition fee alone isn't what a common man can afford. I really hope they change their minds regarding restricting Nigerians for AD...we are not all bad. Some of us still have good intentions.

I called the embassy for my appointment and got it the same day. But later called for it to be moved closer and it was.
