none to the best of my knowledge. Find an employer to sponsor your on work permit, learn French to increase crs score for express entry etc

Exactly why I came to seek advise here. I was just checking my options online and came across Pilot program which requires one to be employed in order to qualify. Eligibility-wise, I think i may qualify, but I don't want to take any decision that may look like misrepresentation.
I'd rather go back to Nigeria alive and without any dent on my record here.

Apt!!! Thank you and God bless you. This is my major challenge as I wasnt prepared for the back to back case studies and assignments after missing several weeks of lecture. The stress is killing, I've been depressed severally but have managed to keep pushing. Thank you again.
I understand your situation very well. But I feel like you are not asking for help, which is probably how you did it in Nigeria where it worked for you. Canada is a different environment, and the study method is completely unique. If school is challenging for you in Canada, ask for help. You will definitely get the help you need. I recommend that you watch this lady's video here who was studying computer engineering in the US. Sadly, if you don't ask for help, nobody will know what is going on and your failure will be put to unseriousness. If you do ask for help, chances are you will get favourable treatment.

Okay. Weigh things, future and Naija. No matter what you do, don't allow already-spent cash to waste.

She clearly stated it that money is not a problem.

The stress and boringness is affecting her... healthwise.

She's in the best position to make a decision...

I can't thank you enough, you truly understand, thank you again. This online lectures I believe contributed as almost everybody in my class are complaining of the same issue. Most of them are Indians and they don't understand too, everybody just read/do assignments just to pass. If I had seen or imagined this before coming,, I wouldn't have bothered, but its well.
God bless you immensely, let me watch the video.

Sis, Hope you are feeling better. Please what province are you in? What school and department? If you announce it here, maybe someone within the province or has passed out from the same department can reach out. Depression is really not a good sign please, plus you mentioned 'coming back home alive' .

See, I'm not a defeatist, but if the stress is so much and you have looked everywhere for help (emotional, educational and mental) and there is nothing in sight and you cannot cope, please defer and come home. Just don't be on the other side of the law, it will cause more stress for you. Pls come home and here, we can start afresh. Thanks.

Hello everyone. I intend travelling to Canada soon with my 3 dependant kids aged 7, 6 and 4.... without my spouse.
I know it's not going to be easy as a single parent. I'd appreciate the input of nairalanders living in Canada.
Can I cope without my spouse over there?
Please help a confused sister.

its hard and exhausting. No house maid, combining work, child care, daycare costs, bills etc. If your husband can cover at least your rent from nigeria it's easier. You can see the woman above who is studying complaining. Depending on your income too government will give child benefit too, which can go towards day care costs

Childcare routine is no job for a Weak person anywhere in the world

And the cost of quality care in high..everywhere in the world

But going with your spouse will make it easier as you two will work around time to care for your children. ... I'd one's of your children was like 15, 16. years old or above it might be a little easy.. anyway if there is no other choice and you have to leave with them, just prepare your self emotionally and financially and you should get in touch with Nigerians in ur area and you can trust them they will make setting in a lot easier for you.

What's the point of carrying powdered milk all the way from Nigeria to Canada when in reality the food standards in Nigeria are way poorer than they are in Canada? I'm honestly very curious about why you would do this.

It is cheaper, with ur thinking everything in Nigeria is in Canada, does that mean one should not carry anything?
