Can you take a job of 50k as a BSc holder? most people will say yes and I don't blame them at all, I have worked as a manager of a guest house for four months and I was paid 27k in a month, the job title sure sounds like a big deal to some people when you say "I am the manager" they wouldn't know your two-month salary can't even afford iPhone 6.

The truth of the matter is Nigeria reward for labour is too cheap and that's why most people bring their businesses over here, pay us 350 euros in a month and we think it's big lol, but at least they pay well compared to Nigerians themself.

I find it difficult to understand why some of these food vendors are looking for someone with ND and some small businesses that pay 50k look for people with BSc, its insane, they will even use the hell out of you. Now I'm recruiting and managing for them and they never asked me for even an application letter and I make more than 100k a month, there are a lot of jobs like this, to be honest,

Nigeria is a place where you just have to find your way I guess because that's what most people with a good income are doing, most of them take contracts from people abroad. have you heard about Fiverr? I know of someone who makes roughly 1k dollars a month from just designing a website with WordPress on Fiverr.

Don't let anybody tell you there is no job so you have to settle for less, as for me I won't use my cert to apply for a 30k job again, laye!

Although it was pretty daunting at first, I started with a mindset that I would risk something for something.
the job wasn't something that was popular, not even something I'm most proud of because I am a BSc holder, I used to think how will a BSc holder finish school and start working online until I got my first pay, it was little because I didn't put most of my energy (but 50k is not that small compared to some jobs in Nigeria, to be honest) it's pretty hard to get a job of 20k in Ilorin, if you live in Ilorin you will know what I mean. The job duty was to respond to website visitors, most of the types that are common are the erotic moderator gigs, you use a player profile and you respond on all these erotic websites, it's just like this cam model gig but this one anyone could be behind the profile. mind you, it is not yahoo, everyone you are chatting with had clicked the agree to the terms button so it's pretty much not illegal, people pay for fantasy over there believe me and you will be amazed how much moderating companies make per message dropped.
the Koko of this talk is that I dropped the 'work in an office mindset' and I decided to build something for myself, I realized not a lot of people get paid the amount I get paid or are able to make in a week if you are reading in between the line you should know it's not a Ponzi scheme. I'm very sure some chat moderators are here and they can testify. I dedicated just 7 hours of my time in a day and I made nothing less than 100k a month, without cert. I can never take a job that's less than 100k with my certificate again because what's the essence?

I know of someone who makes roughly 1k dollars a month from just designing a website with WordPress on Fiverr. Have you heard about crossover? well you will definitely think its a scam because of the pay, and we are here collecting peanuts, I feel like something should be done about the pay in Nigeria, business owners don't want to pay and labour is too cheap, it is something worth looking into

Then Enjoy the 100k you are making na abi wetin come concern others na

It is always good to start somewhere. Someone whose parents are feeding him may reject a 50k offer , but if you have no one to support you, common sense will tell you to take 50k for a start. Idleness kill self-esteem

Seriously something needs to be done about the pay in Nigeria it's ridiculous. Minimum wage is just 50 USD a month. 100k is almost impossible to see as a salary now but that comes down to just 200 USD a month. Doctors no dey even see up to 600 USD a month and na them to school pass.
