Hi everyone, please if someone is travelling to UK from Lagos, do you need to pay again at Ncdc website after obtaining your pcr covid test or you just enter your negative covid test with them? Thanks

I am interested in the answer to this question. I am in the same boat at the moment.

Please please please I would appreciate a response.
I have submitted my application and just realized I need to edit the amount I’m willing to spend cos I think it’s too much and could lead to a denial.

I have already paid TLS so I have a biometric reservation for 31st July.

I understand that since I have submitted, the only option is to withdraw the application.
Question is, can I still use the same TLS contact reservation? And does anyone know how long for the refund?

Thank you.

What amount did you state and what's your disposable income?

from my understanding, you simply book a test with any of the recognised labs on the labs website or via any other method acceptable by the chosen lab (my wife used synlab), I don’t know of any other payment on Ncdc website

You can either book via the NITP site which Lagos Biobank will now issue you a provider or you book via any of the recognised labs in Lagos. The former takes time for them to assign you a lab. And the later is usually faster.

Greetings all. I need to confirm something. A lady wants to apply for MSc in the UK and she wants to add her husband and 2 kids as dependents. However, the said husband is on a-10 year ban that will expire in 2 years. Will this said ban pose a problem for their applications? Thank you gurus in the house.

500k a month is more than enough. For UK visa no information is too much. You have to explain all the inflows into your account. For me I wrote a summary in the box provided in the visa and I also had to write a personal letter , explaining the details of my allowances that was paid or other inflows aside my monthly salary. I contribute to Ajo monthly. I also explained that Bleep amount leaves my account monthly to the Ajo company. I got the Ajo company to write that they have my money with them. . I have never applied for visa with up to 100k in my account. But I always get all the investment and savings company to give me letter addressed to the embassy that I have my savings with them. My company also gives me introduction letter, that I am there staff and entitled to xx days vacation a year. Add all your shares certificates, landed properties, tenancy agreement etc.

Thank you very much for your response! I do not pay income tax or have pay slips. Will it pose a problem?

If the husband is on a ban then perhaps he shouldn't apply as he will most likely be refused.

They can wait for him to serve out the ban.

Thanks for the response as this is actually what I think too. However, if there’s an alternative opinion, I am open to it too. God bless you for your time!

You are welcome. Another option is to apply and do a letter clearing stating how the family separation will cause undue hardship and distress to the kids.

Acknowledge that there's a ban, address the issues that caused the ban, show how the husband has been a model citizen since then and stress the benefit of a child being supported by both parents and ask for leniency with regards to the two years left in the ban.

Most countries are strict with regards to ban and at times even representative of governments on official business aren't allowed in if the said representative is serving a ban unless a diplomatic agreement is reached prior.

That said, they can also extend their discretion especially as kids are involved

Good evening everyone.

1) I would love to ask if applying for visa just a week after funding the account intended to used for Proof of fund would have an impact on the success of the Visa(being successful or not).

2) what's the impact of "priority visa" during Visa application?

I anticipate a reply.

Many thanks.
