you have totally missed the point.

Bishop is only saying hear from God 1st before you take a leap.if some people heard from God or seeked God's consent 1st before making any move they'll have been employers of labour in their countries instead of slaves in another man's land.imagine doing yes sir to a person you're older than in experience, expertise, skill or qualifications because you're in another man's land when it's supposed to be him doing yes sir for you because you just decided to jump the band Wagon of greener pastures without consulting from God 1st

Unfortunately many of you read to respond not reading to understand because of your preconceived notions about pastors.it just seems like something triggers you about pastors but you don't get triggered by your merciless politicians robbing you day and night with impunity to your face

If anyone gives a flawed opinion, whether he be priest or politician, that opinion can be challenged

I'm beginning to see why some people dislike Oyedepo.

Common sense would mean asking what the state of Nigeria was economically in 1987?

Of course we know it was far better then compared to now.

Oyedepo is talking as if he's the only one who refused relocating abroad far back when many of our parents have the same story to tell.

1987 Nigeria was a viable option to western countries.

The second sensible question to ask is if all Nigerians in diaspora are slaves. Again No, as we've seen cases of many who are progressing notwithstanding the obstacles of an unfamiliar environment.

If you take a closer look at his life, you would see now that some of his kids too have schooled abroad and probably residents over there.

Honestly, as a Christian, I'm beginning to dislike this man too.

Many of his utterances are insensitive.

I'm also cocksure that he has another passport to one of these western countries.

I never take anyone of them seriously again.

You're trying so hard to disagree of what you know already.

People migrate basically because of ECONOMY and human rights.

Education and all other factors are just a decoy for most people to travel out to experience the two factors I highlighted earlier.

Despite the advancement of China, a new documentary show that there is an increase migration of Chinese to the U S for greener pastures (using education as an easy way of escape).
Also savoring the free/human rights/Western life in U S and most European countries.
The Chinese usually go back home after their education, not for greener pastures like the Nigerians.

Church, politics, thuggery , banditry , kidnapping and internet fraud are profitable busibesses in Nigeria. Many of legit businesses are being funded by proceeds from illegal businesses.

Rather struggle and suffer in a working society with good infastructure and healthcare than this shithole country that thinks our problems/suffering will be solved in their religious gatherings after paying offering, tithes and donations to build schools that average nigerians can't afford....
and you are wondering why Jesus Christ shouted "it is finished!"

How does that dispute the fact that black man are dying on a daily basis trying to cross over to the white man's county? How does it dispute the fact the black man is the poorest despite the huge natural resources? How does it dispute the fact the black men are stealing their wealth and dumping them in an already developed countries while his people are dying in abject poverty? etc.....

Well He is not God himself, Everyone is entitled to his or her opinions or beliefs, such is life. If it is God's will for you to stay in Naija , then please stay. But it is not God's will for you to stay in Naija, then do not stay. Nigeria is not everyone and abroad is not for everyone. People migrates here and there, some folks stay in Naija and are blessed, some go overseas and are blessed. Some do not well in naija and some do not well overseas, Pastors do not have final say, God do. I will end by saying trust in the Lord and do not lean on your own understanding. Till then, accept Christ as your Lord and saviour.

Exactly.
When religious Nigerians travel abroad they become less religious. More than half of their problems are gone. That's why people like Oyedepo won't want them to leave the country, because the more problems one has, the more tithe and offering the person pays to be free from those problems.

You are suffering from chronic lack of exposure. These churches have thriving locations in the UK, the US, Middle East, all over Africa and of course increasing representation in the local areas. Be cured in Jesus name.

what he said is facts.

Modified: at least read and understand before you start insulting him or me.

It’s also fact too that millions of graduates are roaming the street in Nigeria with zero Jobs, at least the ones abroad are ‘jump from job to job’ according to him.

It’s also a fact that the million jobless graduates in Nigeria are not creating jobs either.
