Hi all, I need your advice. I work for an online university that pays USD equivalent 230,000 as per today's aboki exchange rate. Now, just recently my immediate supervisor was sacked and replaced by an Indian lady who is making the work so difficult to the extent that I hate remembering work. I have been in this job for close to 5 years and I have never felt this bad about the job. Right now I feel like quitting and focusing on my other hustle, although this will mean halving my monthly income. Anyone with a similar experience to share, or advice to give?

Why don't you try and win her over instead of just quiting. Small difficulty you want to quit? You're stronger and better than that mindset. Just be confident in your ability and do what you have to do, everything will fall in place

If you live in Nigeria, please don't resign. The grass is not always Greener at the other side. You might not even see any grass at all sef. Please stay and try and win her over like you've been advised.

A lot of people will give anything to get twice that stress much more having a job... Think.

Unless you do the job for the joy, I feel like you should stay for a little longer so you can save up.

In case you're not aware many graduates are earning less than 60k under harsher working conditions and they're still managing and hoping that things will get better, and you're here crying like a baby for a job you're doing online.

If you quit that job, you end up regretting it as long as you live.

This I have seen.

It's time to move on..


That's the push.... Capitalize on it and leave.

God uses people to push you out of your comfort zone and reach for greater heights.

I work from Monday-saturday,8-6pm on daily basis as internal auditor in one hotel in Lagos oo, immediately i wake up,I will hiss and feel like going back to bed but what will i do i need to go to work,u get to work,insults all over the place from HR and GM.

Am seriously looking for a job as far as in Lagos, make una help me out

I have been in your shoes several times.

Unless you have a strong side Hustle...

If your side Hustle isn't pulling half of your main Hustle.

I.e if your main hustle is making #100
And your side Hustle is making #50
Do not quit your job.

I will suggest you stick to the main job and forebear.

The country hard,no doubt....Even myself wey dey package bakery work self despite the kind of stress wey dey inside self, nobody and nothing go fit ginger me to quit am,talk more of your soft job....
