The Department of State Security Services, DSS failed to produce Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB in court on Monday leading to serious concerns.

POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that Kanu was unable to appear in court due to 'logistics reasons'. Presiding Justice, Binta Nyako refused to allow the trial commence in Kanu's absence.

She also turned down requests from Kanu's lawyers to transfer him from DSS custody to Kuje Prisons. Several members of IPOB were seen around the court premises chanting solidarity songs in support of their embattled leader.

This newspaper earlier reported that some IPOB members were arrested by security agents in the premises as they attempted to create disorder. Furthermore, Ex-AAC presidential candidate and Kanu's friend, Omoyele Sowore was also arrested and taken to a police station at Federal secretariat, 200 meters away from the court.

The case was adjourned to October 21st for further hearing.

The evil futa jalon jihadists must have inflicted injuries on him and are afraid to produce him in his current state because they know his release will be ordered immediately.

If I were Mazi, I will allow the beating to continue. I will continue to provoke them so they can inflict more injuries.

How many adjournments can they take?

Sooner or later, public outcry will force them to produce him and the whole world will see what Buhari the lead futa jalon jihadist does behind closed doors.

The order was to pull MNK out from the court today. Men were out to die on that order, but, seems DSS and NA never ready die hence they no gree bring Mazi come court today.

IPOB publicity secretary should learn not to publish every of our moves.

God bless IPOB
GOD bless MNK
God bless ESN

Okay. We hope to see him on October 21st.

grin

After God, na government. Imagine Kanu begging to be locked up in Kuje despite all his bragging and mouth-making.

A good time to be alive. You would have thought his arrest would have "finished Nigeria" as he used to boast.

Empty loud-mouthed terrorist supported by empty brains!

Very good, so TTY they have been beating him?
Let him continue to provoke them so they can give him like 100 strokes daily for the next 2 years, suddenly, Biafra will come from his stripes

I don't know why people are crying, the man lost his right to a fair trial when he started ordering the burning of police stations and attacking of security agents on record. Sentiments aside in issues of 'National security' the government of any country can bend the laws...... angry

They have no case against him, that's why. Just as they fumbling in Benin republic because they have no case against Igboho. Do they even have any case against Sowore who they arrested today? Meanwhile, Gumi that they should have a case against is roaming the whole bandits territory freely. Confused lots.

This looks like a lazy cooked up mediocre bloggers' report just for ad revenue traffic.
No substance in the mediocre blog post and I sincerely doubt if DSS stated this when it's not DSS that is trying him. It's same way the FHC list of accredited journalists was deliberately twisted that it was released by DSS, just for traffic ad revenue. You can't thrive long on mediocrity. Do the hardwork and get the readers quality and fact based content.
