That is child abuse. Why are they questioning her without her parents, guardian or social service? And why was the gas connection life? Why wasn't it be capped off for health and safety reasons?

Yeah she's very wrong but she's just a child and the comments here are really disturbing...no wonder this country is the way it is...too much bile and misguided anger.

However, I sympathize with the business owner and hope he has adequate insurance in place to get some relief.

it's obvious that she did that intentionally if not why did she go towards the cylit section,hide the lighter when she noticed someone was passing by and ran away when she noticed the place has caught fire. the parents should be made to pay for the damages next time they will train their useless child.
That girl should be locked up her entire teenage and adult life, she is worthless to the society and her family. They should let her out when she is in her 60-70. Cos if we even calculate it, her entire demonic life, she can never earn half of the worth of goods she burnt down.

This is really a bad month for the owner, even smoke detector couldn't help the situation before the outbreak, e come be like say nah the village people wan deal with the Owner.. sadly in this country the only work a CCTV camera can do is to capture evidence, and majority of stores that use CCTV cameras don't employ people that stays on it because of stinginess and most times laziness of the workers, see now.. even if the owner of the shop uses the girl for money ritual, it's not even enough to bring out even N50million. how the parent wan do em'.
