Hello again guys, please how does the walk-in work? The extra fee to be paid, is that to be paid in cash or with POS?

Someone mentioned walk-in, and I'm willing to do that tomorrow.

Also, what documents are required when going for the TLC walk-in biometric?

Are you there now?
Can I please get your number?

Goodmorning, I am filling the visa application form. I have these questions, please, put me through
(1)I am going with my husband (i am the main applicant). I filled my hubby's details where they stated "spouse/partner details. Then the part of dependant details, do I need to include his details there too?
(2)on the dependant details, I filled my children's details, but they are not going with us. The part they stated "is this person travelling with you to the UK?" Do I say yes or no (like if I say no, won't it attract questions like why are we leaving them behind, with who?)
(3) on my husband's visa form (the dependant form. The part they asked "which Visa is xxxx applying for or been granted?, what option do I choose? Is it tier 2 (general) visa or which one?.

Least I have seen for January start is Stirling. 12k after 4k Nigerian Scholarship.

Chikadibia21:
Thanks again. Like you stated, even the 2 mentioned are for September only. That exactly is my challenge.

I need several options for January. University of Chester is the only one for now.

Bravo!!

Social work is not like business programs, like other health programs, the selection process is little more stringent. Also. some schools already have prospective students on the waiting list from previous applications. So, apply to as many that you can the price is right.

You also have to check average rent if you intend staying outside school accommodation. The tuition may be affordable but rent isn't.

Try Kent (10,300) , Huddersfield. Yes, ALL SEPTEMBER.

Thanks very much

1. Yes - you can apply separately as long as you have the funds to cater for both fees. Bear in mind, an undergraduate student can't apply for dependants (if you have plans to switch in the future).
2. Yes - she can apply as your dependant and work/school while in the UK.
3. It doesn't matter as per ties, so long as you have the funds and can establish valid reasons you want your family close by.
4. Doesn't matter if you have the funds and can go together.

Just to share and enlighten people my experience, i visited Ikeja TLS yesterday and to be sincere the experience was horrible. People have to get there as early as 4am to write down names, out of 50 names Ikeja TLS might attend to 20 persons or 30 max for the day but the funniest part is the remaining persons that are unattended to do not know their fate for the next day if they will be call first or Ikeja TLS rep will make use of a fresh list the next day.

Now I’m presently at TLS VI office, as at 7am i met like 15 people on ground for walk in who have written their names and also the unattended person for yesterday walk in were on ground as well. TLS VI rep came out and call people for 8am appointment and after that he called people who were unattended to yesterday in as well and i was amazed how organized fhey were than Ikeja TLS. Personally TLS VI is much better just the additional funds one has to pay to achieve this mission. Still waiting for CAS from Middlesex University sha, just trying to weigh my options to know the TLS center i will use for my Visa application.

Good morning all. I got an unconditional offer from Greenwich University yesterday, I have been told to proceed with 3k deposit payment. I have the money but I want to have an idea of their CAS issuance deadline, so I'll know if my 28 days POF will meet up. Please help a sister.

Good morning house. I hope we are doing great.

@justwise and other gurus in the house, I need you to attend to this for me, please. I asked the question a few days ago, but I couldn't get the answer, hence my bringing it up again.

I am about to submit my application for Jan 2022 session to Salford University, however, I am in a dilemma whether to go ahead or not. The reason is that I am currently pregnant and will be due in January 2022. My concerns are:
1. Do I stand a chance of having my visa approved before November (all things being equal) to enable me to travel before I reach 36 weeks as most airlines don't allow pregnant mothers beyond 36/37weeks to board?
2. Being a new mum and attending schools, how does this work out for whoever has gone through this path before?

Please, ejoor o, kindly answer my naive question this time around.

God bless you

Good morning house,

Please for people who presented more than one statement of account, is it that the UKVI would sum total the 2 accounts to address the POF or it is going to be one SOA per application.

My concern is i have 2 SOA, First SOA is OK for 2 people (wife (applicant) and son) while the 2nd SOA needs to to feed of the 1st SOA to be enough for me. (All accounts has been running, hence the reason i am unable to merge them)

Please i hope this wont be an issue when we eventually apply.

Good morning house. Please just a couple of questions please.

1. For those who have applied to Sheffield Hallam University, is WAEC or English Proficiency Letter accepted in lieu of IELTS? I can't seem to find the information on their website.

Same for University of Sunderland too.

2. In applying for Visa, can I use a Domiciliary dollar account and Naira account together as proof of Funds? I didn't use the Dom account for my school CAS. I'm using it now because the other account had issues after getting CAS. Hope this won't be an issue?

Thank you for the help so far

@justwise

And for those who have gotten CAS from Teesside University, I just want to ask if the school conducted an oral interview for you after answering sending your mandatory questionnaire answer to the school...

Close to 3 weeks no CAS....still waiting...

Well, its possible but is it practical?

Reason is, the timeline is rather too tight. If you're due in Jan and you want to start a masters program in Jan.

Duty of care from the health people, they wont want to be put in that situation
Secondly, it just comes out as having to just want to exploit the services - theres nothing bad in that because youre technically paying IHS but if an over zealous CW picks it, they can make an issue out of nothing..

Other things to consider,
1. What support will you have after delivery (Financial and human)?
2. Hope you don't plan to work at least in the first 3 months after delivery??
3. Your school will actually excuse you (for some weeks or months) from school work if they know you've just had a baby, I'm not sure if this is mandatory.

Like i said earlier, you need to consider the practicality of what you want.

All banks use Form A. Its not only for school fees. PTA, Medical bills, Mortgage etc. Probably banks streamline which they will offer because of FX shortages.

I think they do. I’ve been to access, stanbic and UBA. It’s only UBA that mentioned the FCY but it wasn’t local account. So I’m still trying to confirm from them. Which bank would you suggest?
