I don't advice people, i let them learn the hard way

Unless solicitated I don't go about looking for who to advice. Even me I need advice. One thing to bear in mind when advising people is that some of them has made up their mind on what to do they just want to confirm their intention, so no matter what you tell them they will do what they want.

Some people don't really need advice. All they need is a push of ego. Once you have a different view. Na malice straight up. Best thing is not being one sided and follow up with whatever they tell you

A girl I knew then (cuz I no care ifor she still deh exist) who was dating my friend and colleague for some years approached me to complain that her guy was not proposing or making moves towards that.

I tried advising her on possibilities of getting proposals from him as soon as she expected and made her see reasons why she should give him more time, pray for him and stand by him. In the course of our discussion she intended to know how well I knew him. I stressed further on one or two things which he did in the far past, while he was in school ,like including smoking, which the girl was aware of.

I reminded her of a sister who troubled her guy so much and they got mmarried and barely a couple of weeks the girl sought for divorce. She offered her thanks and I accepted.

Brothers and sisters in the Lord, partners in crime and dear public critics, this girl called her guy-my friend to inform him that I said he is a smoker and that he had dated someone before her. And that the divorce seeking girl had such intention because she preferred her guy (my friend). I received the greatest insult of my life. Till date my friend has failed to believe me. I stress not on it. He called me a betrayer and wondered why I should have told her anything at all.

That bros is happily married today. Sister nkor, she still deh fast and pray...

I wish them well. But I missed my friend till date.
