A lot of things is actually running in my head right now

I believe you are right!

Because men age faster than women, and women on average live longer than men. This could be attributed to men not crying as a means of emotional release like women do. While a woman will cry, wail and be emotional for sometime and forget such occurrence in a hurry. A man can bear grudges for a lifetime without telling anyone and end up dying from HBP. It is logical to get a younger wife to maintain status quo so they can age together with maybe a 4 to 6 years age gap. Also looking at the society we have more Widows than Widowers because the men die early.

Just because men are the strongest that's why they feel for them to earn more respect from a woman, she must be his junior

The same way you see some men being intimidated if their wives are more financially successful than them
