personally, i feel it will be a good idea if you go with your kid and your husband stays behind to establish a Home tie to your country, he can as well join you later he wants to. all the best.

I will like to know if going with my kid and my husband is not going to be a red flag considering I will be going for an undergraduate program and my husband is my sponsor?
He'll have to take time off work to go with me till I settle down before he comes back and he can come in and out just to check on us.

Or if I can afford to just go alone. I really don't know if I can go without my 3year old.

I've read how people with kids have been granted Visa but I noticed they are all going for higher degress, masters and PhD. As I am applying for my undergraduate degree that's where the confusion comes in.

when I had my visa in 2018 I went with my husband and 2 kids as dependant (F2). My husband was my sponsor and I explained to the VO that he was going to help us settle in and cannot stay because of his work. We all got the visa and that was what he used whenever he came visiting.

I agree with you. The problem is that 'coming to visit from time to time' is not F2, that's B1/B2 and that's what I've been trying to communicate.

Infact, applying for an F2 means the F2 bearer is a dependent. In this case, her husband is her sponsor and is also the prospective F2. how can your sponsor be your dependent? That's a denial straight away on an otherwise immaculate application.

The advice is don't apply F2 for the husband. What she needs him for is covered and plausible under B1/B2

Few of us have had no issues with Lufthansa. Just make sure you have your covid test for boarding.

I apply for ER on July 9 at Lagos consulate i attached with the email my i20 and sevis fee payment receipt ..I’m going for masters and receive an email from them on July 24th that my ER is been reviewed and I will get a reply soon. But today I received an email that my ER is denied ..This is my first attempt ... so what could be the reason for this? I will be writing the school to deferred my admission to spring 2022! Because my initial appointment was December 2021.

I am pretty sure the person has never worked in his or her life cos I don't know how any mature or experienced person would spew such nonsense. The lifetime earnings of most Nigerians would not be able to afford the cost of attendance of most schools.

A Letter from your school detailing the extension would do. Print it out and present to the VO (if asked).
Also show the officer at POE.

Still apply for the ER. when approved, Book an early date in September.
Defer the admission to spring session and go for your interview in september.

No problem at all. Had the same issue and my visa was approved. You’ll just be asked to waited for some minutes in order to pull your data from Lagos

Please I applied for EA since the 20th of July and up until now it has not been approved. I only got an email that its been reviewed and I've sent a reminder after but since then, nothing o. School resumes 26th of August and after I emailed my school for an extension, it was denied but I was told I have to be in school before 2nd of September. I'm kinda scared not to lose the assistantship. Pls any advice. Thanks

please how Many days did you wait to reapply for another EA and what are the things you do differently that makes them to consider your approval? Cos I'm in that exact situation now
